XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA DC2 TWIN CAM (Rear FORK) 1993-2001

The DC2 Integra was built for tarmac, but on a gravel stage the chassis becomes a different animal – light, eager, and prone to skipping its inside-rear when the surface goes loose. The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the Honda Integra DC2 Twin Cam (rear fork mounting) is a long-stroke, inverted-tube damper built to keep that B18C-powered front end planted when the road turns to sandstone, silt or worse.

This is not a fast-road kit pressed into stage duty. It is a rally-specific damper that XYZ Racing develops and signs off with rally teams, with spring rates chosen for surface compliance rather than circuit flat-cornering. For a UK DC2 owner running gravel stages, autocross, or unsealed forest sections, it is the right tool for the job.

What this coilover does for your 1993-2001 Honda Integra

The DC2’s short wheelbase and stiff factory shell punish a stage car on rough surfaces – the chassis simply runs out of suspension travel. The long-stroke construction here gives the wheel room to follow the ground instead of pattering across the top of it, which is the difference between a tidy stage time and a spin into the scenery. Inverted-tube damper bodies put the larger, stronger tube outboard, which resists the side-loads that gravel ruts and high-speed compressions inflict – a known weak point of converted street dampers on a DC2. Longer springs paired to the longer stroke soak up the bigger hits without coil-binding, so the front axle keeps weight on the inside tyre through a fast left-right. The result is a Twin Cam Integra that you can lean on over crests and through corner-entry compressions without the suspension locking out.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Gravel Rally damper specifically for rally and rallycross, which the manufacturer rates as the most aggressive surface condition any production damper has to contend with. The defining feature is the inverted-tube design, chosen to handle the side loads and impact forces of sandstone, snow, and silt. Stroke length and spring length are both deliberately long, so the suspension can absorb chassis vibration, attack high-speed bouncy sections, and still bear the extreme G-forces of a fast direction change. Every spring rate offered in the range has been tested by rally racing teams in competition rather than signed off on a dyno alone. It is a focused piece of kit, and its competence is narrow on purpose – gravel and loose surface, not tarmac flat-cornering.

Fitment for the Honda Integra (1993-2001)

This kit is built for the Honda Integra DC2 Twin Cam chassis (AC10), specifically the rear-fork mounting variant, covering model years 1993 to 2001. Confirm your rear lower-mount style is the fork type before ordering – DC2 rear ends were not all built the same.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
