XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is not a car most owners associate with drift discipline, but the mid-engined twin-turbo F154 platform – with its rearward weight bias and 710bhp at the rear axle – has a transient balance that responds beautifully to deliberate angle work once you remove the factory’s electronic safety net. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the FE11-C chassis exists for exactly that owner: the F8 driver who has committed the car to competition drift use and needs suspension geometry that holds angle through high-speed transitions rather than chasing road compliance.

This kit is supplied as the cancellation variant for cars originally fitted with electronic damping, and is specifically intended for F8s without the front-axle hydraulic lift system. That matters: replacing magnetorheological dampers on a Ferrari is not a casual decision, and the cancellation hardware here is what makes the swap clean rather than a fault-light fight.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8

Once installed and set, the car will feel transformed in the way a drift driver actually wants – predictable, stable in yaw, and resistant to the abrupt rear-end snap that the standard F8 chassis can deliver to anyone overcooking entry. Ride height drops with usable bump stroke preserved, so the suspension stops working before the tyre runs out of sidewall. Body roll is cut hard, which sharpens the moment of weight transfer and gives you a cleaner trigger for initiation. Through fast linked corners – the kind where a series car has to hold angle without scrubbing – the F8’s mid-engine mass stays composed instead of pendulum-ing.

About the Drift Spec coilover

This is purpose-developed drift hardware, not a circuit kit relabelled. The geometry and damper tune are aimed at stabilising the body during high-speed cornering so the car can hold a clean, repeatable angle, and the kit is designed to enhance drifting performance once the ride height and bump stroke are set correctly. The damping character favours controlled body movement at angle over the small-input compliance you would want from a road or track-day setup. XYZ Racing’s brief on the Drift Spec is to deliver a setting window where, in their own words, the drift controlling is brought to its excellent condition once the car is properly lowered with appropriate bump travel retained. The electronic damping cancellation kit handles the F8’s factory adaptive system so the new mechanical dampers run without dashboard complaints.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (2020-2026)

Supplied for the FE11-C chassis F8, model years 2020 to 2026, in the variant for cars without the hydraulic front-lift system. The included cancellation kit is required for any F8 originally specified with electronic damping. Confirm your car’s lift-system status and damping spec before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
