XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) 2020-2026

A mid-engined twin-turbo V8 Ferrari is not where most drift conversations start, and that is precisely the point. The F8 Tributo’s 710bhp, rear-driven layout and short wheelbase make it one of the more committed angle platforms in the modern supercar bracket, provided the suspension is rebuilt around the discipline rather than the road. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover for the FE10 chassis exists for owners who have decided to use the car for what it is mechanically capable of, not what it was marketed for.

The hydraulic-lift-equipped variant brings its own constraint: nose clearance over paddock kerbs and transporter ramps matters, and this kit is specified to retain that lift function while still delivering competition-grade ride heights and damping behaviour. It is a drift-first setup, not a fast-road compromise.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system)

Drop the F8 onto its proper drift stance and the chassis starts behaving like the rear-driven tool it always was underneath the electronics. Body roll is pulled flat through initiation, weight transfers cleanly across the rear axle, and the front end stays planted enough through transitions to keep steering inputs meaningful rather than reactive. The reduced ride height, paired with carefully managed bump stroke, gives you a roll centre and contact patch behaviour suited to holding sustained angle at speed – not just initiating it. Front grip stays consistent through clutch-kick and handbrake initiations, which is where stock supercar suspensions tend to fall apart under repeated abuse. The hydraulic nose lift remains operable, so loading the car on a trailer or clearing a venue access ramp does not become a recurring headache.

About the Drift Spec coilover

This kit is engineered specifically for competitive drifting, not adapted from a circuit setup. XYZ Racing built the damping curves and spring strategy around stabilising the body during sustained high-speed cornering at angle, the situation where conventional coilovers either give up rear support or load the front so hard the car snaps. The specific design brief is to help the driver hold a perfect angle through the corner rather than fight for it. Bump stroke is set up to work with a meaningfully lowered ride height, so the suspension still has somewhere to travel when you load the outside rear under throttle. The result is a platform that responds predictably to throttle, steering, and weight-transfer inputs – which is the entire point of a drift coilover, and where most off-the-shelf setups fail when they are pushed past show-car duty.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (2020-2026)

This kit fits the FE10 chassis F8 produced from 2020 to 2026, specifically the variant equipped with the factory hydraulic front lift system. The control system is not included with this coilover – the existing factory lift hardware is retained and remains functional after installation.

What buyers also search for

  • Ferrari F8 drift coilover for competitive angle work and grassroots drift events
  • FE10 chassis suspension built around sustained cornering at angle, not just road lowering
  • Ferrari F8 coilover that retains the factory hydraulic nose lift for paddock and transport clearance
  • Drift Spec damping for rear-driven supercar platforms running repeat-pass abuse
  • Ferrari F8 suspension upgrade for owners using the car as a drift tool rather than a concours piece

Configure your ride height, spring, and damping spec for the FE10 below and build the setup that matches how you actually run the car.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
