XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Dodge STEALTH 4WD 1992-1999

The Stealth 4WD’s factory launch strategy already leaned on all-wheel drive and a viscous-coupled transfer case to put twin-turbo power down without drama, but the standard suspension was tuned for grand-touring comfort rather than repeated hard launches. XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover for the 1992-1999 Dodge Stealth 4WD is built around a different problem: getting that front-biased AWD weight to load the rear contact patch the instant the line drops.

This is a straight-line spec, not a circuit one. Where a Top Sport or Super Sport kit chases mid-corner body control, the Drag Racing coilover exists to manage weight transfer across a quarter-mile pass, run after run, without the ride height or geometry creeping between attempts.

What this coilover does for your 1992-1999 Dodge Stealth 4WD

Fitted to a Stealth 4WD, this kit lets you set front and rear ride height independently, so you can bias weight onto the rear axle at launch without upsetting the nose-heavy stance the twin-turbo V6 and AWD hardware already impose at rest. Drag-specific spring rates control squat under load, so the transfer case and rear differential see a more consistent contact patch through the first few car-lengths rather than the wallow a comfort-tuned OE spring allows. Because ride height adjusts independently of preload, you can set a launch stance for the strip and wind it back for the drive home, which matters on a heavy AWD coupe where excessive rake affects front differential driveline angles. The net effect on a Stealth 4WD is less wasted wheelspin off the line and more repeatable 60-foot times from run to run.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drag Racing coilover specifically for 0-400 metre straight-line runs, and it is engineered to work across front-, rear- and four-wheel-drive platforms rather than being a single-layout compromise. The core idea is independent ride-height and preload adjustment that lets you shift static weight toward whichever axle actually drives the car forward – on a 4WD platform like the Stealth, that means loading both ends without unbalancing the chassis. Increasing compression at the drive wheels through this weight transfer cuts the time the tyre spends unloaded and spinning at launch, which is the single biggest variable in a consistent quarter-mile pass. Construction follows XYZ Racing’s coilover architecture, with threaded bodies built for the ride-height range this application depends on. The intent throughout is stability at speed as much as traction off the line, since a drag pass that goes loose past 100mph is as costly as one that bogs at launch.

Fitment for the Dodge STEALTH 4WD (1992-1999)

This kit is specified for the Dodge Stealth 4WD, chassis code DO05, across the full 1992 to 1999 production run. It’s built for the all-wheel-drive Stealth specifically – confirm your car is the 4WD variant, since the drivetrain layout is exactly what the independent front and rear weight-transfer adjustment is designed around.

This is a fixed application spec for the Stealth 4WD, not a universal-fit compromise – configure yours below.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
