XYZ Racing Top Sport Coilovers — Dodge STEALTH 4WD 1992-1999

The Stealth 4WD carries its twin-turbo V6 and all-wheel-drive hardware well forward of the front axle, and the factory dampers were tuned for boulevard comfort, not for keeping that mass in check through a fast direction change. Push one of these cars into a corner on standard suspension and the nose dives, the body rolls past the point where the front tyres can build real grip, and the rear struggles to follow. The Top Sport is built for the owner who wants to fix that without turning a genuinely rare 90s grand tourer into a stripped-out track special.

This is the street-and-occasional-circuit spec in the XYZ Racing range: firm enough to control a heavy AWD chassis under load, still compliant enough for the drive home. It gives a car that’s becoming harder to find in good order in 2026 a suspension setup that matches what the drivetrain can actually do.

What this coilover does for your 1992-1999 Dodge Stealth 4WD

Fitted to a Stealth 4WD, the Top Sport’s stiffer spring rate and increased damping force cut the nose-dive and body roll that come from carrying a twin-turbo V6 and AWD transfer case ahead of the front wheels. Traction improves because the tyre stays loaded and in contact with the road surface over broken pavement instead of skipping across it, which matters on a car sending power to all four corners. Ride height is adjustable independently of spring preload, so you can correct the slight nose-heavy stance these cars settle into as factory rubber ages, and set a level, planted look without touching the spring rate you’ve chosen. Body control through direction changes tightens up noticeably, which is where most Stealth 4WD owners feel the factory setup fall short first. The result is a chassis that responds to steering input the way the drivetrain’s outputs suggest it should.

About the Top Sport coilover

XYZ Racing built the Top Sport around a straightforward brief: take a car’s damping and spring rate roughly 30-50% firmer than standard street settings, or add around 2kg/mm to the spring rate, and use that increase to keep the tyre in contact with the road rather than skipping over it. That extra control absorbs the hit from a sharp ridge or pothole instead of letting it travel straight into the chassis, which is what keeps the body settled and the contact patch working. The valving comes directly from XYZ Racing’s track-day experience, tuned to hold a car stable and predictable rather than simply harsh. It’s a monotube coilover kit with adjustable ride height, aimed squarely at drivers who use their car hard on the road and take it to the occasional track day without wanting to relearn how the car behaves on the way there.
