XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Honda STREAM RN1/2/3/4/5 2000-2006

The Stream RN1-RN5 is an unusual base for serious circuit work – a tall, MPV-shaped Honda built around a K20 (or 2.0 i-VTEC in earlier RN3 trim) and the same kind of double-wishbone front geometry Honda was putting under the contemporary Civic. That tallness is the problem on track. Body roll arrives early, the outside-front loads up long before the chassis has finished asking the question, and standard dampers run out of control well before the tyre does.

The Circuit Master is the answer for owners using a Stream as a genuine track tool – a JDM curiosity that turns up at club days because it’s cheap, K-series-powered, and quietly capable once the suspension is rebuilt around the discipline. This is XYZ Racing’s flagship damper for sustained lap-time work, not a fast-road kit asked to moonlight.

What this coilover does for your 2000-2006 Honda STREAM RN1/2/3/4/5

The first thing you feel is the body settling. Roll rates drop, the outside-front stops collapsing into the bump-stop mid-corner, and the front tyre finally gets to do its job under trail-braking. With 9720 distinct combinations across the three adjustment knobs, you can split low-speed and high-speed damping independently – useful on a tall car where kerb strikes and direction changes load the damper in completely different ways. Ride height drops bring the roll centre back into a sensible window for the Stream’s high CoG, and the platform stays flat through long, loaded corners where a stock setup would be wallowing on the bump-stops by the apex.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range, alongside the Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds. It has been developed and tested by XYZ Racing teams on international circuits, with the damper internals refined over long-running programmes rather than a single design pass. The headline number is 9720 ways of adjustment – three separate knobs controlling rebound and split-stage compression, giving you the granularity to tune each circuit you run rather than settling for a single all-round map. One honest note from the manufacturer worth repeating: the three-knob valving uses a small oil hole design, so over sharp bumps you may hear a faint passage noise as oil moves through the restricted passages. That is by design, and on circuit surfaces it is a non-issue.

Fitment for the Honda STREAM RN1/2/3/4/5 (2000-2006)

Covers the full first-generation Stream platform, chassis codes RN1 through RN5, model years 2000 to 2006. Drop-in fitment to the standard Honda mounting points front and rear. Confirm your exact chassis code at point of order if you are on a borderline late-RN5 build.
