XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Dodge STEALTH 1992-1999

The Dodge Stealth carries its mass high and forward – a 3.0-litre V6 slung over the front axle of a platform it shares with the Mitsubishi 3000GT – and that nose-led weight is exactly what the XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built to manage. This is a competition damper designed to settle a heavy grand-tourer body the moment you ask it to rotate, then hold the angle while you stay committed through a fast entry.

Sliding was never the Stealth’s factory brief, which is precisely why the suspension under it has to work harder than it would on a lighter, purpose-set chassis. The Pro Racing Drift Spec lowers the ride height, controls body movement through transition, and gives you the adjustment range to tune a car that did not leave the showroom expecting to be drifted.

What this coilover does for your 1992-1999 Dodge Stealth

Drop the ride height and the Stealth’s centre of gravity falls with it, calming the lazy weight transfer that makes a front-engined GT feel reluctant on turn-in. The three independent adjustment knobs let you set damping to suit the surface and the speed, so a tight low-grip paddock layout and a quick circuit entry can run different settings on the same car. Firmer control over body movement keeps the rear predictable as it steps out, while the front retains enough load to hold steering angle instead of washing wide. With the ride height set and the bump stroke sorted, the car sits flat through transition and stays settled mid-slide.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is built specifically for competition drifting rather than adapted from a fast-road kit. Its job is to stabilise the body through high-speed cornering so you can set and hold a clean angle, and to keep the car’s slide behaviour consistent enough to control on demand. Three adjustment knobs handle the tuning, working through a deliberately small oil passage in the valving – a design choice that can produce a faint noise over large bumps as oil is forced through that narrow port, which is normal for this type of damper and not a fault. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke is central to how the kit works, and XYZ Racing engineered it around circuit-track use, where surface bumps are not a concern.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
