XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Honda CRV II 2002-2006

The Honda CRV II turns into a corner the way a family crossover is built to: tall, soft and forgiving, with a high centre of gravity and long, comfort-biased suspension travel tuned for ride quality and load-carrying rather than commitment. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover exists to rewrite that brief. It pins the RD-chassis CR-V down onto its springs, strips out the factory lean, and hands a body that was never meant to slide a platform that will actually hold an angle.

This is competition hardware aimed squarely at drift use. Designed for circuit surfaces, it swaps the standard car’s pillowy compliance for genuine body control, so the moment you ask the 2002-2006 CRV II to step out you get a predictable, repeatable response instead of a slow, wallowing weight transfer.

What this coilover does for your 2002-2006 Honda CRV II

Lowered ride height with the correct bump stroke is the headline change you feel first: the CRV II sits flatter, the nose stops diving, and the roll that blunts a tall crossover’s transitions is largely gone. With body movement under control, initiating and sustaining a slide becomes a deliberate act rather than a fight against soft springs. The three independent adjustment knobs let you tune the car’s reaction to throttle and steering input, so you can build confidence at low speed and then firm things up as commitment grows. The result is a CR-V that telegraphs what the rear axle is doing and lets you commit to bigger, cleaner angles.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec kit is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than fast-road duty. Its core job is stabilising the body through high-speed cornering so the chassis can be placed and held at a consistent angle, and it is built around three adjustment knobs that give you independent control over the damping behaviour. The internals use a small oil-passage design: over large bumps the oil is forced through a tight passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is normal and by design, a side effect of valving optimised for the smoother surfaces of a circuit, where stray bumps are not a concern. In short, this is track-focused drift hardware, not a comfort-first lowering kit.

Fitment for the Honda CRV II (2002-2006)

This kit is built for the second-generation Honda CRV II, chassis code II, covering the 2002 to 2006 model years. Confirm your build year falls inside that span before configuring, and check your own corner setup against the supplied specification.

Set your ride height and damping to suit your driving style, then configure yours below.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
