XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera 4S confronts a fundamental tension: all-wheel drive traction working against the controlled oversteer a competition drift run demands, with the rear-engine pendulum effect shaping corner entry, transition, and sustained angle hold. This kit addresses the mechanical side directly – the included cancellation kit removes the factory PASM electronic damping layer and replaces its interpolated responses with a system tunable for drift geometry.

For 992s carrying the hydraulic front-lift system, this variant is specific: the nose-lift hardware remains operative, but the lift control system is excluded, leaving a clean suspension platform underneath. Setting ride height correctly – and managing available bump stroke with it – is where the 992’s weight transfer behaviour shifts from PASM-managed compliance to something a competition driver can actually read and use.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S

Cancelling the PASM layer removes the electronic variable from the equation, which matters when the requirement is stabilising the car through high-speed turns at extreme angles rather than self-correcting back to a neutral line. Reduced ride height combined with properly calibrated bump stroke reallocates how the 992’s rear mass distributes itself through sustained directional changes – the rear-biased weight that defines a 911’s character becomes a usable tool rather than something to constantly manage. The Carrera 4S all-wheel drive system remains, but the suspension geometry can be set to work alongside it, allowing controlled angle hold without the damping layer fighting the intended slide.

About the Drift Spec coilover

Built specifically for drift competition, the Drift Spec line is calibrated around different priorities from a fast-road or circuit coilover: vehicle body stability at speed during high-angle cornering, the capacity to hold a precise drift angle without unpredictable body movement, and a relationship between lowered ride height and available bump stroke that XYZ Racing developed to bring drift control into its most consistent operating condition. Where most coilover setups aim to minimise body movement through a timed corner, the Drift Spec geometry is tuned to allow controlled, sustained movement at the angles competition drifting requires. PASM cancellation hardware ships with this kit, removing any need to source it separately for the 992 application.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (2019-2026)

Chassis code PO26-C. This fitment covers the Porsche 992 Carrera 4S from 2019 to 2026, specifically cars equipped with the hydraulic front axle lift. The electronic damping (PASM) cancellation kit is included; the lift control system is not part of this fitment.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
