XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA DC2 SINGLE CAM (Rear EYE) 1993-2001

The DC2 Integra was always a scalpel on smooth tarmac, but point one at a sealed-stage rally and the stock dampers run out of travel long before the B18 runs out of revs. The XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover is built for exactly that gap – sealed-stage tarmac work where mid-corner ripples, kerb strikes and compression-into-crest moments would otherwise unload an inside-front and pitch a front-driver into understeer.

This is a rally-specification damper, not a fast-road kit wearing rally branding. The valving and settings come straight from XYZ’s own tarmac rally programme, so the bias is towards keeping the contact patch loaded over broken surfaces rather than chasing the lowest possible ride height.

What this coilover does for your 1993-2001 Honda Integra DC2 Single CAM (rr EYE)

The DC2 lives or dies on front-end bite, and a tarmac rally damper changes how the car loads its outside-front tyre when the surface stops being a billiard table. You get measurably more compliance over patched repairs, expansion joints and stage-edge tarmac, which translates into a front axle that keeps gripping rather than skipping. Rear traction on corner exit improves too – particularly relevant on a chassis with the Rr EYE rear-end geometry, where any vertical shock that unloads the inside-rear costs you drive out of slow corners. Ride quality on the road home is firmer than stock but far less brittle than a circuit-spec kit, because the damper is engineered to absorb impact rather than crash through it.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

XYZ’s Tarmac Rally damper is purpose-tuned to absorb the impact of uneven pavement – the brief is to swallow big single hits, suppress secondary body movement, and keep the tyre planted long enough to put the power down. The internal settings are drawn directly from XYZ’s own tarmac rally racing experience, which is the part most circuit-derived kits don’t have. Where a track coilover wants to control a flat surface, this one wants to control a surface that fights back. Construction follows XYZ’s rally bias: damper bodies built to survive stone strikes and repeat compression cycles, with valving that prioritises wheel control over outright stiffness. The result is a coilover that lets a DC2 stay flat through a fast tarmac section and still soak up the bump that always seems to live on the apex.

Fitment for the Honda Integra (1993-2001)

This kit is specified for the Honda Integra DC2 Single CAM with the Rr EYE rear lower mount, chassis code AC07, across the 1993-2001 production run. Confirm your rear lower mount style is the EYE type before ordering – the DC2 was supplied with more than one rear configuration and the mounting interface is not interchangeable.
