XYZ Racing Top Sport Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA DC2 SINGLE CAM (Rear EYE) 1993-2001

The DC2 Integra was already a track tool out of the box – 1,100kg, a screaming B-series up front, double wishbones at every corner and a chassis that Honda’s chassis engineers genuinely sweated over. What it wasn’t given was a damper package that survives repeat sessions at Cadwell or Castle Combe without fading into a wallowy mess by lap four. The XYZ Racing Top Sport coilover for the Honda Integra DC2 is the answer for owners who want to keep the original chassis brilliance and add the body control the OEM struts run out of.

This is the kit for an Integra that sees occasional track work and still drives to and from it on UK B-roads. The Top Sport spec runs roughly 30-50% more damping force than a street coilover and a spring rate around 2kg/mm stiffer than a fast-road setup, which is the right window for a DC2 being driven hard without becoming a single-purpose race car.

What this coilover does for your 1993-2001 Honda Integra DC2

The DC2’s chassis rewards a damper that controls weight transfer cleanly rather than just clamping it down. With the Top Sport’s firmer damping, the nose settles faster on turn-in, which means you can get back to throttle earlier on the way out of Druids or Paddock without the front end skating wide. The stiffer spring rate keeps the rear EYE-mount end planted under trail-braking, where a tired OEM setup lets the rear go light and twitchy. Across crested British B-roads the Top Sport’s bump absorption is what separates it from a pure-circuit kit – it soaks the hit rather than skipping over it, which keeps the tyre in contact with the surface and the front-axle traction working. Ride height is fully adjustable so you can drop the DC2 to a sensible track stance without losing droop travel.

About the Top Sport coilover

Top Sport is XYZ Racing’s track-day-with-a-commute series, developed out of the same race programme that informs their full-house circuit kits. The brief is straightforward: take the lessons learned from their racing experience and re-calibrate them for a car that still has to behave on the road. Damping runs roughly 30-50% firmer than a street coilover and spring rates sit about 2kg/mm above fast-road norms, which is enough to suppress body roll and pitch on circuit while still absorbing the impact of broken pavement on the way home. The valving is tuned to handle big single hits – kerbs, expansion joints, mid-corner ruts – by suppressing shock through the body and keeping the contact patch loaded rather than skipping. It is positioned for track day use and aggressive driving on the road, not for a dedicated time-attack build where you’d step up to a Super Sport or Circuit Master spec.

Fitment for the Honda Integra (1993-2001)

This kit is built specifically for the DC2 Integra Single CAM variant with the rear EYE-type lower mount, chassis code AC07, model years 1993 through 2001. Confirm your rear shock lower-mount style matches the EYE specification before ordering – the DC2 was also produced in fork-mount variants which take a different bracket.
