XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Toyota EXSIRO 1993-1997

Gravel rally is the most violent test a road-going chassis ever faces, and the damper is the single component that decides whether a stage car survives it. The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the Toyota Exsiro (TO35, 1993-1997) is built around that reality: an inverted tube damper running long stroke and long springs, set up specifically for loose surfaces rather than smooth tarmac.

This is not a fast-road kit pressed into stage duty. The Gravel Rally spec gives the TO35 the travel and damping control to attack sandstone, snow and silt at speed, keeping the wheels loaded over crests, ruts and compressions instead of skating across them.

What this coilover does for your 1993-1997 Toyota Exsiro

On a gravel stage, the long-stroke design lets the Exsiro’s wheels follow the surface rather than skip over it, so you keep drive and steering when the road turns to washboard. The long springs soak up the big hits – landings, ruts, rock strikes – without bottoming out. The inverted tube layout places the larger, stiffer tube at the top where side loads peak, which sharpens steering feel and resists flex under hard cornering. Because the spring rates were settled by a rally racing team in competition rather than guessed on a spreadsheet, the balance suits a car being driven at the limit on the loose. The result is a 1993-1997 Toyota Exsiro that stays planted over high-speed bumps and holds its line through the heavy cornering loads a stage throws at it.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

The Gravel Rally coilover is engineered for one job: rally and rallycross, where the road surface is the harshest in motorsport. The design brief treats the shock absorber as the most important part of a gravel car, so the damper is built to cope with constantly shifting grip – sandstone, snow, silt – rather than a single known surface. Inverted tube construction is the heart of it, chosen so the unit can be tuned across those conditions while carrying heavy side loads. Long stroke and long springs work together to absorb chassis vibration, let the car attack high-speed bouncy roads, and withstand the extreme G-force generated when it is turned hard on the loose. Every spring rate in the kit was validated by a rally racing team in real competition.

Fitment for the Toyota Exsiro (1993-1997)

This kit is built specifically for the Toyota Exsiro, chassis code TO35, covering model years 1993 to 1997. Fitment is matched to that chassis and its standard mounting points. Confirm your car’s year falls within the 1993-1997 span, then check the spec options below against your build.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
