XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari 812 (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2017-2026

The 812 Superfast was never designed to go sideways on purpose. Its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 sits ahead of the cabin, weight loaded onto a front axle that Ferrari tuned for stability through Fiorano’s quick direction changes, not for the controlled chaos of a drift entry. Putting an 812 on Drift Spec coilovers is a deliberate, almost defiant act – and that is exactly the buyer this kit is built for.

This is the FE09-C fitment with the cancellation harness for the factory electronic damping, so the car’s Magnaride-style adaptive system is taken cleanly out of the loop and replaced with mechanical damping you actually control. Ride height drops, bump stroke is shortened to a useable working window, and the front end stops fighting the rear when you ask it to rotate.

What this coilover does for your 2017-2026 Ferrari 812

The 812’s front-engined layout puts a long mass moment over the nose, and on stock dampers that mass wants to dive, recover slowly, and unsettle the rear mid-corner. The Drift Spec valving reins that in. You get a flatter platform on turn-in, a more predictable weight transfer when you initiate, and a rear axle that stays composed when the V12’s torque arrives all at once.

Lowering the ride height tightens the roll centres and brings the chassis closer to a useable drift attitude without bottoming on bump. With the electronic damping cancelled, there are no software interventions softening your inputs at the exact moment you need consistent damper response. The car behaves the same on lap 1 as it does on lap 12.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is a purpose-specific valving and geometry package from XYZ Racing aimed at competitive drifting rather than time attack or fast road. The damper internals are built around stabilising the body during high-speed cornering, holding the chassis flat at angle, and giving the driver a controllable platform once the car is past the initiation phase. The shortened bump stroke after ride-height drop is deliberate – it keeps damper travel within the working zone where you can actually feel the chassis loading.

For an 812 specifically, the kit includes the cancellation hardware for the factory electronic damping system, which means installation does not throw a permanent dash fault and the OE controller stops trying to override the new dampers. The lowered geometry is paired with valving tuned for the kind of sustained, committed angle that defines drift driving rather than the small inputs of a fast-road set-up.

Fitment for the Ferrari 812 (2017-2026)

This kit is the FE09-C chassis fitment, covering the 812 from 2017 through to the 2026 model year. It is specifically the variant for cars without the hydraulic lift system and includes the cancellation kit for the factory electronic damping. If your 812 has the front-axle lift option fitted, this is not the correct part number for your car.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
