XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS 4WD 2018-2026

Drifting a 4WD crossover is not the same job as drifting a rear-drive coupe, and the Eclipse Cross MT35’s all-wheel-drive layout changes how the chassis needs to be held down mid-slide. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that difference: stabilising body movement through high-speed direction changes so the car holds a clean angle rather than fighting the driver for it.

Lower the ride height with the correct bump stroke and the change in composure is immediate. On the MT35 that means less body roll feeding into the transition, and a platform that stays predictable when the AWD system is shuffling torque mid-corner rather than adding a layer of unpredictability on top of the slide.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 4WD

With the correct bump stroke dialled through the lowered ride height, the Eclipse Cross settles into drift angle rather than lurching into it, which matters on a chassis carrying AWD hardware and the extra mass that comes with it. The 3-position damping adjustment lets you set compression and rebound to suit the angle you’re chasing, whether that’s a tighter technical section or a longer, faster sweep. Because the internals are set up for circuit-track use rather than road compliance, the car keeps its composure over the kind of repeated direction changes that would upset a standard-height MT35. The result on this specific crossover platform is a lowered stance that doesn’t just look the part, it changes how the front and rear axles load and unload as the car rotates.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover is built specifically around drift use rather than adapted from a road or fast-road platform. The internal layout is designed to stabilise the car’s body during high-speed turning so the driver can hold a clean, controlled angle instead of correcting for chassis movement. Ride height is dropped with a matched bump stroke, which is where the drift control comes from – get that relationship right and the car’s behaviour through the transition changes noticeably. Damping is set via 3 adjustment knobs, and the internal oil path runs through a deliberately small passage; on rough sections of track this can produce a faint noise as oil moves through that restriction, which is expected behaviour rather than a fault. The whole unit is set up for circuit-track conditions, so surface imperfections and repeated bumps on track are accounted for by design rather than treated as an edge case.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
