XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S CABRIOLET (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

Porsche’s 992-generation Carrera-4S Cabriolet arrives at a circuit carrying two structural realities: the rear-biased AWD platform distributes torque across all four corners under acceleration and braking, and the open body shell introduces torsional compliance that the coupé’s welded roof section never has to manage. In standard trim, PASM reads the road well enough for spirited road work – but on a sustained circuit session, the electronic damper’s constrained adjustment window is what gets in the way.

The Circuit Master coilover addresses this directly. The included cancellation kit removes the 992’s electronic damping conflict and replaces it with a fully mechanical platform, so the suspension set-up reflects what the circuit actually demands rather than what the factory firmware will permit. The hydraulic nose lift remains operational throughout.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet

The 992 Carrera-4S Cabriolet’s widened rear track and all-wheel drive layout mean the front axle is simultaneously managing cornering, braking, and drive loads – spring and damper rates need to match that specific reality, not be averaged across a comfort-to-sport spectrum. Dropping the ride height brings the centre of gravity down in a car where the cabriolet’s reinforced sill sections and roof mechanism add mass above the axle centrelines. On circuit, more consistent damping response through high-speed sweepers reduces the load variation that an open body amplifies under sustained hard cornering. The result is a chassis that behaves more predictably on corner exit, where the AWD torque split can work with the geometry rather than compensating for it.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master sits at the top of the range alongside configurations for Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally applications – each developed through XYZ racing teams operating across international circuits. The headline specification is 9720 distinct adjustment combinations, accessed through three independent adjustment knobs that control the damping characteristics across a wide operating range. That granularity comes from a small oil hole design: under large, abrupt inputs, coilover oil travels through a restricted passage, which can produce a faint mechanical sound in those specific conditions. This is normal behaviour for this construction type and is not a fault – on a circuit surface, where irregularities are minor and predictable, it has no bearing on performance. The Circuit Master is built specifically for repeat circuit use, and the adjustment range reflects the kind of incremental set-up work that competitive lap sessions require.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet (2019-2026)

This kit covers the 992 Carrera-4 and Carrera-4S Cabriolet from 2019 through 2026 under chassis code PO27-C. It includes a cancellation unit for the factory PASM electronic damping system and is specified for cars equipped with the hydraulic front lift system, excluding replacement of the lift control unit itself. If your car carries any factory suspension option packages beyond the standard fitment, verify against these codes before ordering.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
