XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The 992 Carrera-4/S carries its flat-six behind the rear axle and splits drive between all four wheels – a layout that delivers extraordinary road composure but makes very specific demands when the goal is sustained, competitive drift angles. Factory PASM dampers are calibrated for a different brief entirely. This fitment includes a PASM cancellation kit that prevents ECU fault codes when the OEM electronic dampers are removed, and the ride height reduction is mapped specifically around the bump stroke geometry that makes angle control on the C4/S predictable rather than abrupt.

XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover for the Porsche 992 exists to do one thing: let the car generate and hold a drift angle at the kind of entry speed a competition environment demands. Lowering the centre of gravity shifts the AWD platform’s weight transfer dynamics, stiffening the rotational response that drift angles depend on.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S

Reducing ride height on the 992 C4/S tightens the relationship between body roll and tyre contact patch – the car’s characteristic composure at road speed translates, once properly configured for drift, into a platform that stays planted through the sustained arc of a competition run. The Drift Spec geometry prioritises body stabilisation in high-speed turns; on a chassis as wide and well-planted as the 992 C4S, that foundation means the rear runs wide and holds angle rather than snapping back at mid-corner. Bump stroke is tuned around the lowered ride position, so the transitions that break lesser setups – entry to full lock, exit from sustained angle – stay manageable. The PASM cancellation kit is not an afterthought; without it, the 992’s ECU throws continuous faults that compromise stability management and basic drive functions alike.

About the Drift Spec coilover

Built around the demands of drift competition rather than adapted from a road or circuit product, the XYZ Racing Drift Spec keeps body stabilisation through high-speed cornering at the centre of its design brief. Valving and geometry both allow intentional oversteer to develop progressively – onset is gradual rather than arriving as a single unmanageable step. Ride height reduction is integral to how the product functions: lower the car to the correct position and the bump stroke enters the range where drift angle control becomes tractable. XYZ Racing’s testing across competition drift environments informs the setup, and the 992 fitment ships with the cancellation hardware to deal cleanly with the generation’s PASM electronics.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (2019-2026)

This kit covers the 992 Carrera-4 and Carrera-4S built between 2019 and 2026, chassis code PO28-C, in variants without the factory hydraulic front axle lift system. The PASM electronic damping cancellation kit is included and required when fitting non-electronic coilovers to any 992 with standard PASM. Confirm your car is not fitted with the optional hydraulic lift system before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
