XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The 992 generation’s rear-axle weight bias – inherent to the 911’s architecture since 1963 – reaches the Carrera-4/S with additional width, AWD traction, and a PASM electronic damping system so thoroughly networked into the chassis management that swapping to a competition coilover without the correct cancellation hardware is not a compromise; it produces fault codes, compromised braking thresholds, and a car working against itself. This is the problem the XYZ Racing Racing Spec kit solves before it solves anything else.

For the 2019-2026 Carrera-4/S not fitted with the hydraulic front-axle lift system, this Racing Spec set combines competition-derived damper hardware with the electronic damping cancellation required to run it cleanly – a coilover the car’s management architecture accepts as intended and that a driver can actually calibrate to a specific track.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S

The 992 Carrera-4/S runs close to a 40:60 front-to-rear weight split – the penalty and the gift of the rear-engine layout – and the AWD system means the front axle is already working harder for traction than a standard Carrera’s. What that combination demands is consistent, predictable rear-axle behaviour under sustained hard braking, where the rear compresses heavily and the damper’s ability to hold its calibration matters more than headline spring rate. With the PASM system cancelled and the Racing Spec hardware in place, damper character is fixed by the driver’s setup choices, not modulated by the car’s software on a corner-by-corner basis. A spring rate or damping adjustment produces a predictable, repeatable change at the wheel – which is what circuit work actually requires.

About the Racing Spec coilover

The Racing Spec series is built for competition rather than derived from a road specification. Settings have been developed through direct participation in racing events including the WTCC, which means the calibration baseline reflects what circuits demand under sustained load, not what a comfort compromise will accept. For cars carrying significant modifications – revised aero, aggressive power upgrades, braking packages well beyond standard – XYZ Racing can produce custom shock absorbers within the Racing Spec programme. Drivers competing at A-class level, or those running vehicles built to factory racing specification, can supply detailed information on their upgraded components and target circuit, and a custom damper is built to that brief. The standard kit carries the same race-derived calibration approach throughout.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S (2019-2026)

This kit is designed for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4 and Carrera-4S, chassis code PO28-C, covering model years 2019 to 2026. It is specified for cars not equipped with the hydraulic front-axle lift system. The electronic damping cancellation kit is included in the package to ensure full compatibility with the factory PASM installation.
