XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-2/S (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The 992 Carrera-2 is not a car that naturally wants to drift. That rear-mounted flat-six pendulum – precisely the mass that makes the 911 architecture so fundamentally unlike anything mid-engined – is the force you need to manage, not fight, when setting the rear wide at speed. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S is built for exactly that discipline: competitive drifting in the current generation of 911.

Stripping the standard electronic damping out of the equation is the first necessary step. The included cancellation kit handles this cleanly, eliminating the conflict between the factory PASM’s adaptive comfort-and-sport logic and the consistent, predictable damping behaviour a competitive drift setup demands.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 CARRERA-2/S

The 992’s PASM system is effective in road use, but it actively resists the sustained controlled oversteer that drift competition requires – the cancellation kit lets the Drift Spec coilover operate without interference from the factory software. Lowering the ride height redistributes that distinctive rear weight bias and sharpens the car’s response to throttle inputs, giving a more predictable initiation point. The bump stroke calibration is configured for maximum-angle high-speed cornering, keeping the chassis planted through sustained directional changes rather than snapping loose unpredictably. On a rear-engined platform, managing body roll during high-speed transitions is critical, and the Drift Spec geometry keeps the chassis composed through the kind of turns that competition scoring rewards.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is XYZ Racing’s dedicated competition drift suspension, built specifically for drifting rather than adapted from a road or circuit platform. The geometry and bump stroke calibration are configured for sustained high-speed cornering at maximum angle, stabilising the chassis when lateral forces and weight transfer are at their most extreme. Ride height adjustment is tuned around the 992’s rear-engined mass distribution, so the lowered stance is functional by design – the drop changes how the rear pendulum behaves under load, not just how the car sits. The result is consistent, repeatable chassis behaviour through sustained high-angle direction changes, which is what allows a driver to build the feedback loop competitive drifting requires.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 CARRERA-2/S (2019-2026)

This kit covers the Porsche 992 Carrera-2 and Carrera-S, chassis code PO19-C, across the 2019 to 2026 production span. It is specified for cars without the factory hydraulic front-axle lift system, and the cancellation kit for Porsche Active Suspension Management electronic damping is included – correct fitment requires this step to be completed before the coilover can operate as intended.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
