XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The F8 Tributo arrives from Maranello with magnetorheological dampers tied into the Side Slip Control brain – brilliant on a dry circuit, restrictive the moment you want to run slicks, alter ride height for a specific track, or step beyond the factory’s calibration window. The Racing Spec coilover is the answer for owners who have outgrown what the electronic system will allow, and who need a damper that responds to a setup sheet rather than a software map.

This kit pairs the FE10-C chassis Racing Spec damper with the cancellation harness for the electronic damping ECU, so the dashboard stays clean and the car drives as a properly mechanical platform. It also retains the front hydraulic lift system, which is non-negotiable on UK roads where speed bumps and pit-lane kerbs sit between you and the circuit.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8

Switching the F8 to a mechanically-damped, height-adjustable platform changes the car’s behaviour in three concrete ways. Mid-corner load on the front axle becomes something you can actually tune – soften the rebound and the nose settles into long, loaded corners like Copse or Paddock Hill Bend; firm the compression and turn-in sharpens without the rear stepping early. Pitch under braking from 280 km/h reduces because you can run a stiffer front bump than the OE Magneride will deliver, which keeps the front splitter at a consistent height to the tarmac. And ride height becomes a setup tool, not a fixed number – drop the car for a flat-floor circuit like Snetterton, raise it for a bumpy session at Cadwell, retain lift-system clearance for the journey home.

About the Racing Spec coilover

Racing Spec is XYZ Racing’s circuit-derived damper, with valving developed through direct involvement in WTCC and similar tin-top championships. The construction targets repeated heat cycles and high-frequency damper inputs – the conditions that fade a road-tuned coilover after three or four laps of sustained pace. Spring rates and damper curves are biased toward track use first, with road compliance treated as a secondary calibration concern rather than the primary one. For owners running aggressive aero packages, slick tyres, or chasing a specific circuit, XYZ Racing’s process supports bespoke valving and spring rates – you supply the build sheet and the venue, and the dampers are built to suit, in the same way a factory racing car is specified.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (2020-2026)

This kit is built for the FE10-C chassis F8 Tributo and F8 Spider fitted with the factory front hydraulic lift system, and includes the cancellation harness for the electronic damping module. Year span covers 2020 through 2026 production. The hydraulic lift function is preserved end-to-end – you keep nose clearance, you lose the magnetic damper ECU.
