XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The F8 Tributo arrived with one of the most resolved magnetorheological setups Maranello has ever shipped – and that is precisely the problem when you want to point a mid-engined twin-turbo V8 at a sealed Targa stage. The factory SCM-E dampers read the road faster than any human, but they read it on Ferrari’s terms, not yours, and the closed ECU loop gives you nothing to tune when the surface changes from glassy autostrada to broken hillclimb tarmac inside a single corner.

This is the XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover kit for the FE10-C chassis F8, supplied with the cancellation harness that retires the electronic damping module cleanly and the necessary provisions to retain the factory hydraulic nose-lift system. It swaps Ferrari’s adaptive logic for a fully mechanical, fully adjustable platform built from XYZ’s own sealed-stage rally programme.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8

The F8’s rearward weight bias and short, taut wheelbase make it brilliant on a billiard-table circuit and brittle the moment the surface goes unpredictable. The Tarmac Rally damping curve is the answer to that: a long bump stroke with progressive low-speed control, then a sharper high-speed knee that catches the chassis when a kerb or a compression tries to unsettle the rear axle. You get a usable amount of suspension travel back, which means the rear tyres stay loaded through the kind of mid-corner bumps that have the standard car skipping sideways. Body control under hard braking from triple figures stays tight because the front damping is paired to the spring rate rather than chasing it through software. Crucially, retaining the hydraulic lift system means you can still clear pit-lane ramps and Italian village kerbs without dragging the splitter.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

The Tarmac Rally specification is built specifically to absorb the impact of uneven pavement – the kind of broken, patched, cambered surface that defines a real special stage. The damper is calibrated to swallow the jolt of a big compression, suppress the shock through the body, and put the contact patch back on the road quickly enough to maintain tyre traction through the next input. Every setting in the kit is drawn directly from XYZ Racing’s own Tarmac Rally programme, where the brief is vehicle stability over a surface that refuses to stay flat. Construction follows the same mechanical philosophy as the rest of the XYZ motorsport range – pillowball top mounts, rebuildable damper bodies, and adjustment that the driver controls rather than the ECU. The cancellation kit included with this fitment retires the factory electronic damping signal so the car runs without dash faults.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (2020-2026)

This kit is built for the FE10-C generation Ferrari F8 covering the 2020 to 2026 model years, supplied specifically for cars optioned with the factory hydraulic front-axle lift system. The package includes the cancellation harness for the electronic damping control unit so the magnetorheological circuit is shut down cleanly.
