XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (with hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The F8 Tributo’s twin-turbo V8 sits behind the driver with the mass concentrated low and aft, and that rearward bias is exactly what makes it such an unusual candidate for a competitive drift build. Strip away the magnetorheological dampers Maranello fitted as standard and the chassis becomes a blank slate – one that rewards mechanical damping you can actually feel through the steering and the seat.

This is the XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover kit built specifically for the F8 platform with factory hydraulic nose-lift, supplied with the electronic damping cancellation harness so the dash stops shouting at you the moment the OEM struts come off. It is a focused tool for sideways work, not a fast-road compromise.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8

Drift dynamics on a mid-engined car are different – the polar moment is tighter, the rear wants to swing harder once unloaded, and recovery from a missed angle happens faster than you expect. The Drift Spec damping is calibrated to keep the rear axle planted at the apex of a transition while still allowing the front to set on initiation. You feel the difference in how the chassis takes a snap of opposite lock: less pitch, less head-toss, more usable feedback through the rim. Ride height comes down enough to load the outside front in a hold, and the bump stroke is set so the suspension actually works at competition height rather than living on the bump stops. The included cancellation kit defeats the electronic damping control unit, leaving the mechanical adjusters in charge – which is the only sensible setup for a car being driven this hard.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a circuit programme. XYZ Racing’s design brief here is body stabilisation during high-speed turn-in and through the held angle – the moments where a softer touring damper or a stiff circuit damper both fall apart. The kit’s geometry pairs a lowered ride height with a carefully chosen bump stroke so the chassis has somewhere to go under transition load without bottoming. The result is a more predictable yaw rate when initiating, and a cleaner exit when the front comes back across centre. Spring and damper rates are matched to the F8’s mid-engined mass distribution rather than a generic front-engined sedan tune, and the electronic damping cancellation harness is shipped in the box so the ECU stops seeing the original magnetorheological struts as missing. For F8 owners who have committed to drift events on private land or sanctioned competition, this is the foundation suspension.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (2020-2026)

Built for the FE10-C chassis covering the 2020-2026 F8 Tributo, specifically the variant fitted with the factory hydraulic front lift system. Supplied with the cancellation kit required to disable the electronic damping warning when the OEM magnetorheological struts are removed.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
