XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S CABRIOLET (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The 992-generation 911 carries its mass where almost no rival does – slung out behind the rear axle – and managing that pendulum is the first job any drift setup has to do before it does anything else. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet is built to take command of that rearward weight during high-speed direction changes, keeping the body flat enough to set and hold a deliberate angle.

This is the cancellation-kit version for cars that left the factory with electronic PASM damping, so it removes the adaptive struts entirely and replaces them with three-way mechanical control. The platform underneath is the Carrera 4’s all-wheel-drive layout wearing the soft-top Cabriolet body, and both facts shape how this kit wants to be set up.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet

Once the ride height is lowered with the correct bump stroke set, the front end becomes noticeably more deliberate as you load it into a turn. The three adjustment knobs let you separate the rear’s behaviour from the front, which matters on a Cabriolet because the open body flexes more than the coupe and benefits from a firmer baseline to keep transitions crisp. Dropping the ride height pulls the centre of gravity down over that rear-biased mass, so the tail stops trying to overrun the nose mid-corner unless you ask it to. On a Carrera 4, where the front axle is also driven, the added body control keeps the chassis predictable when you provoke a slide and then gather it back up. The result is a stiffer, more communicative ride that trades motorway comfort for the feedback you rely on while managing angle at speed.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is engineered specifically for competitive drifting rather than adapted from a fast-road kit. Its core purpose is to stabilise the body through high-speed cornering so the driver can place and hold a clean angle, and XYZ built it around lowering the car with a usable bump stroke so the controlling inputs stay precise. Damping runs through three adjustment knobs, each fed by a small oil-passage design. That detail is worth knowing: over large bumps, the oil forced through those narrow passages can produce a faint noise, which is normal behaviour for this construction and not a fault. The kit is intended for circuit and track environments, where surface bumps are not a concern, so it prioritises body control and consistency over the compliance you would want on a broken road. For the 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet, that means a coilover tuned for the track and drift environment first.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet (2019-2026)

This kit is cut for the 992 chassis (code PO29-C) in Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S Cabriolet form, covering the 2019 to 2026 model years. It is the variant for cars without the hydraulic front lift system, and it includes the cancellation kit required for vehicles fitted with electronic PASM damping. Confirm your car runs PASM and lacks the hydraulic lift before ordering this exact spec.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
