XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 991 GT2/ RS (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2017-2026

Hang nearly 700 horses and a flat-six behind the rear axle, and the 991 GT2 RS becomes a study in managed mass. That rearward weight bias is a gift when you are holding angle – the rear tyres stay loaded and the car wants to rotate around its own engine – but the factory PASM electronic damping was tuned for grip and lap time, not for sustained, controlled slip. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover exists to take that weight transfer off the ECU’s hands and put it under yours.

This kit replaces the adaptive dampers entirely and ships with a cancellation harness so the 991’s electronics do not log a fault when the OE struts come out. For a 2017-2026 Porsche 991 GT2/ RS built for the skid pad rather than the lift-equipped road car, that is the starting point: full manual control, no warning lights, no compromise forced on you by a closed-loop damping map.

What this coilover does for your 2017-2026 Porsche 991 GT2/ RS

Drop the ride height with the correct bump stroke retained and the GT2 RS sits flatter through the long, loaded corner where a rear-engined car normally wants to push wide on entry then snap on exit. The three independent adjustment knobs let you separate the body-control job from the bump-compliance job, so you can stiffen the platform to hold a committed angle while still soaking up kerb strikes on a circuit. The result on track is a car that takes a deliberate steering and throttle input and turns it into a repeatable, sustained slide rather than a knife-edge moment. Stable in the high-speed transition, predictable on the way back to grip.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is built specifically for competitive drifting rather than adapted from a fast-road kit. XYZ designed it to keep the body settled during high-speed cornering so the driver can hold a clean, consistent angle, and the geometry of the lowered ride height is matched to a usable bump stroke so the suspension still works hard under load. Adjustment runs through three separate knobs, each feeding a small-orifice oil passage. That small-passage design is what gives the kit its fine control, and it is worth knowing that hammering over large bumps can push oil through those tight passages quickly enough to make a faint noise – normal behaviour, not a fault. The kit is engineered for circuit surfaces, where bump irregularity is not a concern, and that focus shows in how single-mindedly it is set up for sliding.

Fitment for the Porsche 991 GT2/ RS (2017-2026)

This kit is specified for the Porsche 991 GT2/ RS, chassis code PO18-C, across the 2017 to 2026 production span. It is the variant for cars without the hydraulic front-axle lift system, and it includes the cancellation kit required to remove the electronic adaptive damping cleanly. Confirm your car runs the standard setup rather than the lift-equipped option before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
