XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Mitsubishi OUTLANDER 2WD/4WD 2007-2013

The second-generation Outlander rides tall, on a long-travel factory setup tuned for school runs and motorway comfort rather than loose-surface pace. Point that same body down a gravel stage and the soft damping lets it pitch, dive and roll long before the grip actually runs out. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Mitsubishi Outlander 2WD/4WD (2007-2013) is the direct answer: a long-travel, high-capacity damper built for rally and rallycross rather than tarmac circuit work.

It keeps the wheel planted over ruts and crests while giving you the adjustment range to set the car up for the surface in front of you. On the 4WD cars especially, that added body control lets the all-wheel-drive system lay power down out of slow, broken corners instead of scrabbling for traction.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2013 Mitsubishi Outlander 2WD/4WD

The extra suspension travel front and rear is the headline. It gives the Outlander a larger buffer over jumps, compressions and deep ruts, so the chassis settles rather than crashing into its bump stops. The enlarged oil and nitrogen gas volume keeps damping force consistent through a long stage, where a smaller shock would fade as the oil heated up. Three separate adjustment knobs let you tune the car for gravel, snow or a rougher rallycross surface, and the firmer body control reins in the tall Outlander’s roll and pitch without making it brittle. On the 2WD and 4WD versions alike, the result is a car that stays composed when the surface is working against it.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is engineered first for rally and rallycross, where travel and thermal stability matter more than outright tarmac stiffness. XYZ Racing extends both front and rear travel to build in a larger buffer distance, the margin that keeps the car stable when it lands hard or loads up over a crest. To support that, the dampers carry a greater volume of shock oil and nitrogen gas, which holds the damping stable and stops the oil overheating and fading after sustained hard use. The three adjustment knobs feed through a small-bore oil passage, and over large bumps the oil moving through that narrow passage can produce a faint noise – this is normal and not a fault. It is a loose-surface tool, made to soak up the kind of impacts that would overwhelm a tighter, circuit-biased setup.

Fitment for the Mitsubishi Outlander 2WD/4WD (2007-2013)

This kit is built for the Mitsubishi Outlander 2WD/4WD, chassis code MT33-1, covering the 2007 to 2013 model years. It suits both the front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions of the second-generation car. Confirm your drivetrain and year against the options before ordering so the correct spring and damper hardware is matched to your Outlander.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
