XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Subaru LEVORG VM 4WD 2014-2020

The Levorg VM’s symmetrical all-wheel-drive layout makes it an unusual pick for competitive drifting, but that’s exactly the platform this XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover kit is set up to exploit. Where a rear-drive car breaks traction through the throttle alone, the VM’s AWD system keeps power feeding all four corners through a slide, and the geometry change a proper coilover setup brings is what lets a driver hold that angle rather than fight it back off the apex.

Built specifically for drift use rather than adapted from a road or fast-road spec, this kit is aimed at Levorg VM 4WD owners running the car on circuit for competitive angle work, not commuting comfort. It’s the coilover to fit before you start setting up the rest of the chassis for lock and rotation.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2020 Subaru LEVORG VM 4WD

Drop the ride height correctly within the bump stroke this kit provides and the VM’s body control changes noticeably through fast direction changes – the transitional weight shift that decides whether a drift entry holds its angle or snaps back to grip. The three external adjustment knobs let you separate front and rear damping so you can firm up the front for sharper turn-in without making the rear so stiff it kicks the tail out unpredictably mid-slide. On a 4WD platform like the Levorg, where all four tyres are working through a slide rather than just the rears, that independent control over how each corner loads and unloads matters more than it would on a straightforward rear-drive chassis. The net effect on the VM is a car that settles into an angle instead of arguing with the driver about it, and holds that line through a longer, more controlled sweep before you need to catch it.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec range is built around one job: stabilising the car’s body through high-speed rotation so the driver can hold a clean, consistent angle rather than chase the car through a slide. XYZ Racing designed the damping specifically around drift use rather than general road driving, with the ride height drop calculated so the available bump stroke still absorbs kerbs and circuit undulations without the chassis pitching mid-corner. Each corner runs three external adjustment knobs, and the internal oil circuit uses a deliberately small-hole passage design to fine-tune how the damping responds under load. Driven hard over bumpy sections of track, that small-passage design can produce a faint noise as oil moves through it – this is a known characteristic of the design, not a fault, and it’s built for exactly this kind of circuit use, where bumps on track are part of the job rather than an edge case.

Fitment for the Subaru LEVORG VM 4WD (2014-2020)

This kit is built to the VM-chassis Levorg specifically – the all-wheel-drive estate sold from 2014 through to the end of the 2020 model year, not the later VN-generation car. Confirm your Levorg runs the 4WD drivetrain covered here before ordering, as coilover geometry and mounting points differ from any front-drive market variant. If you’re unsure which chassis code your car carries, check your V5C or ask before ordering rather than guessing.

Configure your Pro Racing Drift Spec kit for the Levorg VM 4WD below, and set the ride height and damping to match how you actually drive it.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
