XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Nissan MARCH K13 TYPE2 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2010-2017

The K13 March is a small, light, front-driven car, which is exactly why it turns up so often in Japan’s time-attack and grassroots circuit scene once the rear end has been reworked. Once a K13 has had the Modified Rr Integrated rear-end conversion done, the geometry and load paths at the back axle are no longer what the factory damper was tuned around, and a fast-road coilover simply won’t cope with what that rear end is now asked to do on track.

XYZ Racing’s Racing Spec is the top-tier coilover in the range for the Nissan March K13, built specifically for serious track and time-attack use rather than a fast-road compromise wearing a race label. It exists to give a car already carrying this level of chassis modification a damper that matches the work already done to it.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2017 Nissan March K13 Type2 (modified Rr Integrated)

With the rear-end geometry already altered by the Modified Rr Integrated conversion, damping that was never set up for it will either wallow under transition or spike hard over kerbs – neither is useful in a time-attack car. Racing Spec’s valving is set from circuit data rather than a road-biased default, so weight transfer under braking and through direction changes stays controlled instead of chasing the modified rear axle. On a car this light, small changes in damper response show up immediately at the limit, and having front and rear rates matched to the actual (not factory) rear geometry means the car settles onto a line rather than fighting it mid-corner. The result you feel on track is a March that turns in predictably off the modified rear end and holds its attitude through fast direction changes, rather than one where the rear is guessing at what the front is doing.

About the Racing Spec coilover

Racing Spec is XYZ Racing’s circuit-only damper, and its settings come directly out of racing itself rather than a lab rig – the base tune was developed through the brand’s own participation in touring car racing, including WTCC. That’s a different starting point to a road-and-track compromise unit: everything about the valving assumes slicks or semi-slicks, sustained lap loads, and a driver who is going to use all of the adjustment range rather than leave it on a fast-road setting. For cars carrying more aggressive modification again – the kind of factory-level or A-class race preparation that goes beyond a standard Modified Rr Integrated rear end – XYZ Racing can also build a genuinely custom damper, working from a full list of the car’s upgraded parts and the circuit it’s built to run. That custom route sits above the standard Racing Spec kit rather than replacing it, and it’s worth flagging to XYZ Racing directly if your March’s spec goes further than this listing covers.

Fitment for the Nissan March K13 Type2 (modified Rr Integrated) (2010-2017)

This kit is built for the Nissan March K13 Type2 with the Modified Rr Integrated rear end (chassis code NI20-1), covering the 2010 to 2017 production run. Confirm your car carries this specific rear-end modification before ordering, since the standard K13 rear geometry uses a different damper spec within the same range.
