XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW X4 F26 4WD 2014-2018

The F26 X4’s tall factory ride height and permanent xDrive four-wheel-drive layout were built for a sports activity vehicle, not for holding an angle through a hairpin. Dropping the stance and taking proper control of damping is what turns that chassis into something you can actually steer on the throttle.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that shift. It gives the BM105-generation X4 a set-up aimed squarely at competitive drifting, where body control under high lateral load matters more than ride comfort on the school run.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2018 Bmw X4 F26 4WD

Lower the X4 on this coilover and its centre of gravity drops with it, which matters more on an AWD chassis this size than on a lighter rear-drive car – there’s more mass to control when you’re loading the outside tyres mid-transition. Get the ride height set correctly, with the right amount of bump stroke, and the chassis stops pitching through direction changes, holding a cleaner angle as the xDrive system shuffles torque between front and rear axles. The three external adjustment knobs let you separate compression and rebound per corner, so the front can be stiffened to sharpen initiation without upsetting the rear’s ability to hold a slide. On a heavier, taller-riding platform like the F26, that separation is what stops the car rolling and wallowing the moment you get aggressive with the throttle.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition, not for road use or general fast-road handling. The internal valving is tuned to keep the body stable through sustained high-speed cornering, so the car holds a cleaner angle instead of wallowing as weight shifts lock to lock. Getting the ride height right, with proper bump stroke set into the travel, is what unlocks the control this coilover is capable of; skip that step and the rest of the spec is wasted. Damping runs through three external knobs, each metering oil through a deliberately small internal passage, and on rough sections of track that restriction can produce a faint mechanical noise as fluid moves through it. That’s a normal characteristic of this valving design, not a fault. Because the whole unit is built around circuit-track use, road-surface bumps and expansion joints simply aren’t part of the brief.

Fitment for the Bmw X4 F26 4WD (2014-2018)

This kit is specced for the F26-generation Bmw X4, chassis code BM105, built between 2014 and 2018 with the standard xDrive permanent four-wheel-drive system. It’s matched to that AWD drivetrain rather than a rear-drive conversion, so mounting points and geometry follow the factory front and rear subframe layout across the model years covered.

What buyers also search for

  • Bmw X4 F26 4WD coilover set-up built for competitive drifting rather than everyday ride comfort
  • Bmw X4 drift coilover with adjustable ride height and separate compression and rebound control
  • F26 X4 AWD suspension aimed at circuit-track drift events, not general road-bump absorption
  • Bmw X4 BM105 coilover kit matched to the factory xDrive drivetrain and AWD geometry

Ride height, bump stroke and the three-knob damping split all need setting to match how you’ll actually drive the F26, so configure yours below.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
