XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ford TIERRA 1998-2002

The Ford Tierra runs on the same late-1990s Mazda 323/Familia underpinnings as its siblings of the period – a light, front-drive compact that Taiwanese grassroots racers have kept circulating long after the dealerships forgot it. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover takes that platform and sets it up for sustained cornering attitude and high-speed body control, a long way from how a 1998-2002 Tierra left the showroom.

This is a competition-leaning kit, not a comfort upgrade. It drops ride height, tightens how the shell moves through fast direction changes, and hands you enough adjustment to chase a repeatable line on track. The Pro Racing Drift Spec is named for the job it is built to do: keep the car stable and predictable when you are carrying speed into a turn.

What this coilover kit does for your 1998-2002 Ford Tierra

Lower the Tierra on this kit and the first thing you notice is how much flatter the body sits as load piles onto the outside corner. The three adjustment knobs let you set ride height and damping behaviour separately, so you can get the nose down without killing the chassis’ ability to absorb a kerb. With the bump stroke set correctly after lowering, the car settles faster between transitions, which makes holding a fast turn a matter of throttle and steering input rather than wrestling a vague, rolling platform. Turn-in sharpens, mid-corner attitude becomes something you can place on purpose, and there is far less nose-dive under hard braking before the entry.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing engineered this coilover specifically for drift use, with a build aimed at stabilising the body during high-speed cornering so the driver can set and hold a clean angle. The three adjustment knobs cover ride height and damping, and the design pairs a lowered stance with a properly judged bump stroke to bring the car’s behaviour under control where it matters. The dampers use a small oil-hole passage; over large bumps the oil is forced through that restricted passage, which can produce a faint noise. This is normal and not a fault. The kit is intended for circuit tracks, where surface bumps are not a concern, so it prioritises composure and adjustability over outright road plushness.

Fitment for the Ford Tierra (1998-2002)

This kit is matched to the Ford Tierra, chassis code FO20, covering the 1998 to 2002 model years. Confirm your chassis code and production year against the listing before ordering, and check current corner balance and alignment after install to suit your circuit setup.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
