XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Porsche 992 GT3 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2021-2026

The 992 GT3’s rear-engine layout – the same mass distribution that gives it such precision on a dry circuit – becomes one of the most demanding variables in loose-surface rallying, where sudden changes in grip between compacted gravel, soft silt, and snow require suspension travel that the standard PASM setup was never calibrated to provide. Running the car competitively on gravel stages means rethinking the damper geometry from the ground up.

The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover is designed specifically for this discipline. Developed alongside a rally racing programme and validated on the surfaces that break standard suspension setups – sandstone, silt, and snow – it gives the 992 GT3 the travel range and structural resilience that stage rallying demands.

What this coilover does for your 2021-2026 Porsche 992 GT3

The standard PASM electronic damping setup is calibrated around tarmac use. On gravel stages, where the car encounters continuous high-frequency vibration, sudden large-displacement bumps at speed, and the asymmetric grip changes that make trail-braking on loose surfaces an exercise in precision, the OEM system runs out of remit quickly. This kit replaces it with long-travel springs and extended-stroke dampers that absorb the violent chassis inputs of rough-road competition without transmitting them to the chassis structure or upsetting the rear-biased balance under load. The inverted-tube damper construction resists body flex under the extreme lateral forces generated when cornering on loose surfaces – something that matters considerably when the bulk of the powertrain sits behind the rear axle. Spring rates were validated in active rally competition, so the starting calibration reflects genuine stage-surface experience rather than a paper exercise.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

Rallycross and gravel-stage rally represent the most aggressive surface conditions in motorsport – the Gravel Rally series was designed to meet those conditions rather than adapt from tarmac-focused hardware. The inverted-tube damper design was specified for its structural resistance to lateral loading and its ability to accommodate the long springs and extended piston travel that loose-surface driving requires. Long-spring, long-stroke construction handles the sustained vertical punishment of high-speed rough roads and the sudden large G-force lateral inputs generated through tight gravel-stage hairpins. Spring-rate pairings across the range were developed and tested in competition, providing calibrated starting points for different surface types – sandstone, snow, and silt each behave differently under the wheel, and the settings reflect that. The result is a damper unit built from the discipline up, not a road-to-rally conversion.

For the 992 GT3 application, the kit is built to work alongside the factory hydraulic front-axle lift system – the lift control system is not included in this kit – and the electronic damping cancellation kit is included to clear PASM fault codes when the OEM actuators are removed from the circuit.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 GT3 (2021-2026)

This specification covers chassis code PO24-C – the 992 GT3 built between 2021 and 2026 – and includes provision for cars equipped with the factory hydraulic front-axle lift (the lift control system is excluded from this kit). The full PASM cancellation kit is included in the package. Confirm your car’s exact build specification against the chassis code and hydraulic lift fitment before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
