XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 GT3 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2021-2026

The 992 GT3’s rear-engine mass distribution – roughly 60 per cent of the car’s weight carried behind the rear axle – is an asset in drift work, but it demands respect. Once a slide is established at speed, the rear-engine pendulum effect builds quickly; suspension that was not designed for that loading leaves the driver chasing corrections rather than holding angle. These Drift Spec coilovers from XYZ Racing are built around the geometry and ride-height requirements of competitive drifting, not as a fast-road or circuit product pressed into service.

The application covers the 992 GT3 variant fitted with the hydraulic front-axle lift option, and the kit includes the cancellation hardware that suppresses PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) fault codes when the factory electronic damper signals are no longer present. The hydraulic lift function itself is retained.

What this coilover does for your 2021-2026 Porsche 992 GT3

Set to the correct ride height and matched bump stroke, the 992 GT3’s rear-axle contact patch loads more consistently through high-angle cornering entry – the moment where rear-engine geometry is most sensitive to suspension choices. Body roll is managed tightly enough that the flat-six stays planted over the rear wheels through the mid-corner phase, keeping rear tyre grip working rather than hunting. The adjusted geometry shifts the car’s yaw behaviour toward an angle it will hold, not a slide it must recover from. For competitive drifting on the 992 platform, that distinction matters more than any single damping metric in isolation.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Drift Spec solely for competitive drifting – not as a hybrid type that covers circuit or road use in the same tune. The specific design goal is stabilising the vehicle body at the speed and extreme steering angles that competitive drifting demands, giving the driver a platform from which angle can be committed to and held accurately. Ride height is lowered in combination with a precisely matched bump stroke, and it is that pairing – working together rather than independently – that places the chassis at the geometry position where drift angle becomes controllable. The Drift Spec is a single-purpose product; the engineering choices follow directly from that constraint.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 GT3 (with hydraulic lift, excl. control system) (2021-2026)

This set is confirmed for the Porsche 992 GT3 (chassis code PO24-C) across the 2021 to 2026 model years, specifically the variant carrying the factory hydraulic front-axle lift option. Confirm your car is equipped with the hydraulic lift before ordering – this application is correct for that variant only. The included PASM cancellation kit manages the electronic damping interface and prevents fault codes following fitment.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
