XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Porsche 991 CARRERA-2/S/TURBO (without hydraulic lift system) 2011-2019

Rear-biased weight distribution is the 911’s defining characteristic – roughly 60 per cent of the 991’s mass sits behind the rear axle centreline, and the car rewards those who understand that balance. On circuit, the standard Carrera 2/S/Turbo suspension is caught between too many briefs: compliant enough for public roads, controlled enough for an occasional track day, not genuinely optimised for either.

The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover exists for situations where that compromise is not acceptable. Designed for sustained circuit lap-time work on the 991 platform, it gives you the adjustment resolution to exploit the 911’s natural rear-grip advantage rather than managing the geometry the factory chose for a different purpose.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2019 Porsche 991 CARRERA-2/S/TURBO

The Circuit Master delivers 9,720 available adjustment combinations, accessed through three dedicated control knobs. That granularity matters on the 991 because the suspension demands differ significantly by variant – the rear-drive Carrera 2 and S want rear damping calibrated to control squat under power without unsettling mid-corner balance, while the Turbo’s AWD system and wider rear track shift the neutral point considerably. Getting that calibration right is the difference between a 991 that pushes gently wide at the apex and one that rotates cleanly on the throttle. One characteristic to understand before fitting: the Circuit Master’s narrow internal oil passage can generate some noise over sharp, high-amplitude impacts. On a prepared circuit surface, this is of no consequence.

About the Circuit Master

Positioned alongside Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally configurations at the top of the XYZ Racing coilover range, the Circuit Master is built specifically for defined competition use rather than road-biased performance. XYZ Racing’s own competition teams have validated the design across circuits worldwide, which means the specification decisions reflect genuine race-load experience.

The central feature is 9,720 distinct damping settings, reached via three separate adjustment knobs that give independent control over different aspects of the damper’s response. The internal oil circuit uses a deliberately narrow bore – a configuration that handles the sustained loads generated by circuit driving efficiently. The narrow passage does mean that sudden, severe inputs from rough surfaces can produce mechanical noise; this is expected behaviour inherent to the design, not a defect. Construction is optimised for high-frequency, repetitive-load cycling across a full day’s circuit sessions rather than the wider load spectrum a road damper must absorb.

Fitment for the Porsche 991 CARRERA-2/S/TURBO (2011-2019)

These coilovers are designed for the Porsche 991 generation (chassis code PO31), covering Carrera 2, Carrera S, and Turbo body variants produced between 2011 and 2019. The hydraulic lift system caveat is critical: 991s fitted with Porsche’s optional front-axle lift mechanism – hydraulic actuators that raise the nose over speed humps – require a different product configuration. Confirm your car’s options list against the original build record before purchasing.

This is the best design, on the competitive version such as Racing Spec, Drift Spec, Tarmac Rally. This is the ultimate boutique for racing in many international athletics tracks, and test for a long time. This is for purchase handling high performance and the essential partner in different racing. Circuit Master Damper is tested through XYZ racing teams all over the world. 9720 ways of different adjustments can meet all customers’ needs and win the 1st place in every race.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Pillow ball top mountPillow ballPSolid pillow-ball (spherical bearing) upper — chosen for rigidity and precise camber adjustment, the sharpest steering response of the options.
  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
