XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Nissan SKYLINE R34 BNR34 4WD (Rear EYE) 1999-2002

The BNR34 GT-R left Nissan’s Oppama plant with Bilstein units, active ATTESA E-TS Pro, and a chassis calibrated to be fast enough for Nordschleife benchmarks while remaining street-legal. For many owners, that factory settlement is the starting point rather than the destination. The Circuit Master coilover kit replaces it with hardware developed explicitly for sustained lap-time work.

With the RB26DETT mounted longitudinally ahead of the front axle, the BNR34 carries more nose weight than its four-wheel-drive badge implies. The ATTESA system compensates through rear torque injection, but chassis roll costs it precision in fast direction changes. Three independent adjustment knobs, covering 9,720 damper configurations in total, give you the range to address that – and to tune for a specific track surface rather than hunting a universal middle ground.

What this coilover does for your 1999-2002 Nissan SKYLINE R34 BNR34 4WD (Rr EYE)

Three separate adjustment knobs let you build a setup from the BNR34’s specific behaviour at each circuit, not from a fixed baseline. Reduced body roll through the front MacPherson struts sharpens turn-in and makes the car’s response to trail-braking inputs more predictable – you can push harder into braking zones with greater confidence about where the nose will go. On the rear multi-link, fine damper control means the car holds its line through high-speed sweepers with less correction needed from the steering. Because the ATTESA E-TS Pro system maps torque distribution to chassis posture, a more settled platform feeds it cleaner data: traction out of tight hairpins improves when the body pitch that stock dampers allow is eliminated.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s foremost competition damper, at the head of a range that also covers Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally applications. The headline specification is 9,720 individual adjustment combinations, accessed through three independent knobs – a figure that reflects development against real race requirements rather than a theoretical range. Construction centres on a small oil-hole passage design: under normal circuit conditions this delivers the controlled, precise stroke response that track work demands, but through severe kerb strikes or rough road surfaces, the restricted passage can produce noise as the oil works through the smaller aperture – an inherent characteristic of this construction rather than a fault. XYZ Racing’s own teams run Circuit Master dampers across international circuits worldwide, and the calibration reflects that competition use directly. These are coilovers built for smooth sealed circuits; mixed-surface or public-road applications are outside their intended operating envelope.

Fitment for the Nissan SKYLINE R34 BNR34 4WD (Rr EYE) (1999-2002)

This kit is specified to chassis code NI40, covering the BNR34 four-wheel-drive Skyline in the rear eyelet (Rr EYE) mount configuration across all production years from 1999 to 2002. The Rr EYE designation identifies the rear lower arm attachment type – owners who have modified or replaced rear suspension components should confirm their car retains the eyelet configuration before ordering.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
