XYZ Racing Street Advanced Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (without hydraulic lift system) 2020-2026

The F8 Tributo is a mid-engined twin-turbo V8 that arrived with the chassis already heavily massaged by Maranello – Side Slip Control 6.1, magnetorheological dampers as standard, and a 710bhp 3.9-litre F154 that loads the rear axle harder than any non-Pista 488 before it. The standard car is brilliant. The standard car is also tuned for a global press fleet, which means a ride height and damping window that has to forgive bad surfaces and inattentive owners. The Street Advanced coilover for the FE11 chassis is for the owner who wants to redraw that window themselves.

This is the non-lift fitment, so it is aimed squarely at F8 owners who treat the car as a fast-road and occasional track tool rather than a show piece that has to clear London speed cushions. Drop the ride height into something closer to a Challenge car’s stance, dial the damping back for the B-road run home, and stop apologising for the factory compromise.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8

Lowering an F8 properly changes the car’s character before you have even turned the steering wheel. Reduced roll centre migration tightens the front-end response that the Tributo’s quick rack is already asking for, and a flatter platform under load means the rear contact patches stay where the Pirelli engineers intended when you get back on the throttle out of a third-gear corner. The Street Advanced’s 720-position damping range is the lever you actually use day to day – soften both ends for a Goodwood drive, firm the rears for a Bedford lapping session, and the car responds without a trip to a specialist. Spring and damper rates chosen for road-biased use also mean the F8 stops crashing into expansion joints, which is the one thing magnetic damping has never quite solved on UK tarmac.

About the Street Advanced coilover

Street Advanced is XYZ Racing’s most-developed road-and-track product, refined over years of feedback from teams running XYZ kit in international competition. The 720-way damping adjuster sits at the heart of the platform, giving genuinely usable resolution between full-soft road comfort and a stiffer trackday setting rather than the on/off feel of cheaper twin-tube kits. Construction follows the same monotube logic used across the XYZ catalogue, with independent ride-height adjustment from the lower mount so corner weights can be set without sacrificing usable shaft travel. The brief is straightforward – a coilover that survives normal British road use, holds up to a full day at Brands or Donington, and gives the owner real adjustment range in between.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (2020-2026)

This kit is matched to the FE11 chassis F8 (Tributo and Spider variants) built between 2020 and 2026, in the non-hydraulic-lift specification. If your car is fitted from factory with the front-axle lifter system, that is a separate part number – check before ordering.
