XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari F8 (without hydraulic lift system) 2020-2026

The F8 Tributo’s mid-engined balance and 710bhp twin-turbo V8 were never engineered with sustained sideways angle in mind – which is precisely why a dedicated drift coilover for the FE11 chassis is such a specific tool. Ferrari built this car to find apex; XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec rebuilds the geometry and damping window so the F8 can hold angle, transition cleanly, and recover throttle without the chassis snapping back to its grip-focused factory behaviour.

This is a competition-orientated kit for FE11 owners running their F8 in drift events or building a dedicated sideways car. It sits a long way from the road-biased end of the XYZ Racing range, and the spec choices reflect that.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Ferrari F8 (without Hydraulic Lift System)

Lowering the F8 on the Drift Spec drops the centre of gravity and tightens the bump stroke window, which is the foundation of any usable drift setup on a mid-engined platform. Once the ride height and stroke are set correctly, weight transfer through initiation becomes more predictable and the rear axle holds its loaded position deeper into the slide. You feel it most in transition – the F8 stops fighting you when you flick it, and the chassis settles before you’re back on throttle. Damping is built for the high-speed turning loads that drift cars see on entry, where a road-tuned damper would simply blow through its travel. Twin-turbo torque also stops upsetting the chassis the way it can on factory dampers when the rear squats hard mid-slide.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is XYZ Racing’s purpose-tuned suspension for competitive drifting, not a relabelled track kit. The geometry of the kit, ride height range, and bump stroke are all set to favour controlled rotation rather than the lateral grip a circuit coilover chases. XYZ’s engineering brief for this series was vehicle body stabilisation during high-speed turning – the moment of initiation – so that the driver can hold a clean, deep angle without the chassis going light. Lowered ride height paired with a properly proportioned bump stroke is what unlocks the controllability they’re aiming for; the damper valving is matched to that geometry rather than fighting it. It is a coilover with a single job, and the specification reflects that focus.

Fitment for the Ferrari F8 (without Hydraulic Lift System) (2020-2026)

This kit is built specifically for the FE11 chassis F8 Tributo without the factory hydraulic lift system, covering the full 2020-2026 production run. The "without hydraulic lift" distinction matters – lift-equipped cars use different front strut hardware, and this kit is not the correct part for those. Confirm your car’s specification before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Top mounts included with your kit
