XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES F13 M6 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2011-2018

The F13 M6 was never meant to slide. Two tonnes of aluminium-bonnet GT car, a 560bhp twin-turbo S63, and the factory’s Adaptive Drive system constantly second-guessing what the chassis is doing – it is a magnificent grand tourer that fights you the moment you try to hold a sustained angle. This XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover kit is the answer to that fight, and the cancellation harness in the box is the part that actually unlocks the car.

Because the F13 M6 runs electronic dampers from the factory, a standard coilover swap throws an EDC fault the second you turn the key. This variant ships with the cancellation kit pre-matched to the BM75-4-C chassis code, so the car reads happy ECU-side while you take full mechanical control of the suspension underneath.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2018 Bmw 6 SERIES F13 M6 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

Drop the ride height enough to plant the front axle, set the bump stroke so the nose loads predictably under trail-brake initiation, and the M6 finally starts behaving like a chassis you can steer with the throttle. The Drift Spec damping holds the body flat through high-speed transitions where the standard car wallows, which matters when you are committing to a long third-gear entry and need the rear to step out on your input rather than on a mid-corner weight shift. Front-end response sharpens noticeably – the F13’s long wheelbase stops feeling like a liability and starts working in your favour for big, held angles. Spring and damper rates are matched to a car that weighs what an M6 weighs, not a generic one-size kit hoping for the best.

About the Drift Spec coilover

This suspension is built specifically for drift competition. The geometry and valving are tuned to stabilise the body during high-speed turn-in so the driver can commit to a clean initiation angle, and to keep the chassis composed once the car is sideways and the rear tyres are doing all the work. Lowered ride height combined with a properly chosen bump stroke is the foundation of the package – get those two right and the controllability of the slide steps up a level. Construction is the usual XYZ Racing pillowball-top, threaded-body monotube layout with independent ride-height adjustment that does not eat into spring travel. The cancellation harness is integrated into the kit rather than sold as an afterthought, which is the only sensible way to fit non-electronic dampers to an EDC car without throwing dash lights.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 SERIES F13 M6 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2011-2018)

Chassis code BM75-4-C, covering the F13 M6 Coupe with factory Adaptive Drive / EDC fitted, model years 2011 to 2018. The kit includes the electronic-damping cancellation harness specific to this car, so no separate EDC delete is required. Confirm your car carries EDC before ordering this variant – non-EDC F13s use a different part number.
