XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Scion TC 2005-2010

Loose-surface rally work asks completely different questions of a front-drive Scion TC than tarmac ever will, and the Pro Rally coilover is XYZ Racing’s answer for crews running gravel and snow stages. This is the top-flight rally damper in the range, built around the impacts, ruts and mid-corner surface changes of a special stage rather than the smooth, predictable camber of a circuit.

The first-generation TC (chassis code SC01) carries its 2.4-litre weight over the nose in classic front-drive fashion, and on a loose surface that bias shows up as a car that wants to wash wide the moment you load the front axle. The Pro Rally kit is aimed straight at that behaviour – controlling how that mass settles so the front tyres keep biting through gravel and over crests.

What this coilover does for your 2005-2010 Scion TC

On stage, the difference is in how the TC absorbs and recovers from a hit. Compliant valving lets the suspension soak up rocks, ruts and compressions without skipping the front end off line, then settles the car quickly enough to take the next input cleanly. Ride height is set for the ground clearance loose-surface stages demand, so you keep the sump and bodywork intact over crests and into drainage cuts. With the front damping managing weight transfer properly, the nose-heavy TC rotates more willingly into a corner instead of ploughing, and the driver gets a far clearer read of available grip underfoot – the confidence that lets you commit on a surface that keeps changing.

About the Pro Rally coilover

This is a dedicated gravel and snow rally suspension, not a road kit pressed into competition use. XYZ Racing offers it in two distinct configurations to match how far a build has gone. The first bolts directly to the original SC01 chassis with no structural changes, making it the practical choice for club and amateur crews who want a proper rally damper without reworking the shell. The second is intended for cars whose bodywork has already been modified for competition, fitting once those changes are in place to suit a more developed, professionally prepared TC. Both share the same loose-surface focus: long-travel, impact-tolerant damping engineered for the abuse of a gravel or snow stage.

Fitment for the Scion TC (2005-2010)

This kit is built for the first-generation Scion TC, chassis code SC01, across the full 2005 to 2010 model run. Choose the configuration that matches your build – direct-fit to the standard chassis, or the professional version for a body already modified for rally use.

1. Be installed directly with the original chassis. (Amateur type)
2. Be installed after modifying the car body. (Professional type)
