XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204 4 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2014

The W204 C-Class’s rear multi-link axle was never drawn with a drift lock kit and a full-throttle slide in mind, and on cars that left the factory with electronic damping control, any serious coilover swap has to deal with that system before it deals with spring rate. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec kit for the Mercedes Benz C Class W204 4 CYL answers both problems at once: a cancellation kit removes the factory electronic damping signal cleanly, while a modified, rear-integrated shock and spring assembly is matched to how this chassis actually loads up mid-slide rather than how it behaves in a straight line.

This is the Drift Spec build, so the brief is competitive drifting, not fast-road comfort. Everything in the kit is aimed at getting the C Class W204 to hold a clean, repeatable angle once the rear steps out, rather than just sitting lower for the sake of it.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C Class W204

Deleting the electronic damping control at the source means the rear axle behaves mechanically and predictably instead of fighting an adaptive system that was never calibrated for lock-angle driving. The rear-integrated shock and spring layout keeps the W204’s multi-link geometry working with you through a transition rather than against it, so the body stays composed as weight shifts hard from one side to the other. Dropping ride height with the correct amount of bump stroke settles the car’s stance and keeps the chassis stable at the point where most drift-spec suspension starts to feel vague. For a 4-cylinder W204, that combination of a lowered, controlled stance and a rear end that isn’t second-guessing an electronic controller is what turns a car that can slide into a car you can actually hold at an angle.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range specifically around drift competition rather than adapting a road or track kit for the job. The core aim is body control through high-speed direction changes: the shock and spring combination is set up to keep the car stable while it’s rotating, so the driver can hold a consistent, deliberate angle instead of correcting a chassis that’s still settling. Lowering the ride height is only useful if the bump stroke is matched to it, and this kit is specced so the drop doesn’t eat into the travel you need once the car is loaded up sideways. On cars fitted with factory electronic damping, the included cancellation kit is part of that same philosophy – a mechanical setup you can predict, rather than one an ECU is quietly working against. The result is a coilover built to enhance drift performance specifically, not a general-purpose lowering kit pressed into service for it.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W204 (2007-2014)

This kit (chassis code ME05-1-C) is built for the 4-cylinder Mercedes Benz C Class W204, 2007 to 2014, with the modified rear-integrated shock and spring configuration. It includes the cancellation kit needed for W204s originally fitted with electronic damping control, so the factory system can be removed without warning-light or fault-code issues.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
