XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Jaguar XE (X760) 6 CYL (Fr FORK) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2016-2026

The X760-generation Jaguar XE’s V6 cars carry real weight over the front axle, and on a rear-wheel-drive saloon tuned by the factory for motorway composure rather than lock-and-hold slides, that nose weight works against you the moment you try to get the rear to step out and stay there. Standard geometry is built to resist rotation, not invite it. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover kit exists for the opposite job: a setup built around competitive drifting, where controlling the car mid-slide matters more than raw cornering grip.

Because the 6-cylinder XE cars in this fitment run Jaguar’s electronic Adaptive Dynamics dampers from the factory, this kit is supplied as the cancellation-kit fitment – it physically replaces the electronic damper units so the coilover’s own valving is what governs the car, not a control module smoothing out the inputs you actually want raw when you’re holding an angle.

What this coilover does for your 2016-2026 Jaguar XE

Dropping the XE’s ride height on this kit lowers the car’s centre of gravity and cuts body roll, which shortens the lag between countersteer input and the rear axle responding – the difference between a slide that’s predictable and one that snaps. The Drift Spec valving is set up to keep the chassis settled through the transition into a corner, so you can commit to an angle rather than fight the car for it mid-turn. Because the front end runs the "Fr FORK" strut arrangement specific to this X760 fitment, the kit is matched to that geometry rather than a generic strut design, which keeps steering response consistent as you load the front tyres through a transition. Removing the factory electronic damping from the equation also means the ride quality doesn’t shift under you mid-run the way an adaptive system can when it reads a slide as an event to correct.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range specifically around drift competition rather than adapting a road or track kit for it. The core idea is body control: keeping the chassis stable through fast, high-angle direction changes so the car holds a clean line instead of wallowing or snapping back. Ride height comes down substantially versus standard, and the kit is set up with enough bump stroke that the reduced height doesn’t eat into usable travel mid-corner – a common failure point on cheaper drop kits, where the car bottoms out the moment weight transfers under a slide. The result is a platform where lowering the car actually improves how it holds an angle, rather than just changing the way it looks stationary.

Fitment for the Jaguar XE (2016-2026)

This kit is built for the Jaguar XE X760, 6-cylinder engine variants, covering the 2016 to 2026 model years. It’s specified for the front "Fr FORK" strut layout used on these cars and supplied as the cancellation-kit fitment, meaning it’s built to replace the factory electronic Adaptive Dynamics dampers rather than run alongside them. Confirm your XE’s engine and factory suspension type against these details before ordering, as electronic-damper and standard-damper X760 cars use different strut architecture.

This is a chassis-specific kit built around how the X760 actually behaves under a slide, not a generic drop converted for drift use – configure yours below to match your XE’s exact engine and strut fitment.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
