XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA DC2 SINGLE CAM (Rear FORK) 1993-2001

The DC2 Integra was built lean and short-wheelbased, and on a sealed stage that translates into a car that pivots eagerly but punishes a damper that can’t keep the inside rear loaded over kerbs and mid-corner ruts. The XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover is the spec written for exactly that problem – a damper engineered around stage abuse rather than smooth circuit tarmac, with the compression travel and bump absorption to keep a B18C-powered DC2 hooked up when the road surface stops cooperating.

For a 1993-2001 Honda Integra DC2 being prepped for sealed-stage rally work, the brief is different from a circuit setup. You need the suspension to soak a mid-corner compression without unloading the opposite wheel, and to recover quickly enough that the next direction change is already on the front axle. The Tarmac Rally spec is the answer.

What this coilover does for your 1993-2001 Honda Integra DC2

Bolted to a DC2, this kit fundamentally changes how the chassis deals with surface inconsistency. The damping is tuned to absorb the harder hits a tarmac stage throws at a short-wheelbase Honda – manhole covers, broken patches, exit kerbs that would otherwise skip a stock-damped Integra sideways. Body control tightens noticeably, but not at the cost of the compliance the front axle needs to stay planted under power out of slow corners. You feel it in two places: braking stability into stage hairpins, and the rear axle’s willingness to follow the front through quick direction changes. The B-series Integra’s natural rotation is preserved; what changes is the confidence to use it on a surface that isn’t billiard-table smooth.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

The Tarmac Rally is XYZ Racing’s stage-specific damper, built to absorb impact from uneven pavement rather than to chase the last millimetre of circuit body control. The construction prioritises high-speed compression – the kind of hit that arrives over a crested kerb or a sunken drain cover – and the rebound is calibrated to recover the wheel quickly so traction is restored before the next input. The result is a damper that suppresses shock travel through the body of the car and keeps the tyre loaded against the road, which is where stage time is found. Every setting is drawn from XYZ Racing’s own tarmac rally programme, so the baseline shipped on the kit is a setup that has already been validated on the surface it’s built for, rather than a circuit damper softened up with a longer stroke.

Fitment for the Honda Integra (1993-2001)

This kit is specced for the DC2 chassis, single-cam variant with the rear fork mounting, covering the full 1993-2001 production run. Chassis code AC09. Confirm your rear lower mount style before ordering – the rear fork interface is the variant this part number addresses, and DC2 production included more than one rear mounting configuration.
