XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Ferrari F360 2001-2006

The F360 Modena’s mid-engined balance is a gift on a smooth circuit and a liability on a bumpy one – the aluminium spaceframe loads up beautifully through long sweepers, but the standard damping was always tuned to flatter road surfaces rather than punish kerbs. The Circuit Master is built for the second job. This is a coilover designed around the assumption that the car will spend its weekends being driven in anger at Spa, the Nürburgring, Imola, and Donington, not commuting to Maranello breakfast meets.

For a 400bhp V8 sat behind the cabin, with the 360’s known appetite for rear-end rotation on trailing throttle, the Circuit Master gives you the range to set the car up for that behaviour rather than fight it. It is the most aggressive of the XYZ Racing track-focused range and it makes no apologies for it.

What this coilover does for your 2001-2006 Ferrari F360

The Circuit Master gives the F360 a flat, planted attitude under load that the factory dampers never reached past half throttle. With 9720 distinct damping settings across three independent adjustment knobs, you can separate low-speed body control from high-speed compression behaviour – exactly what a mid-engined Ferrari needs when you’re trail-braking into Druids or asking the rear axle to take throttle early out of a long right-hander. Ride height is fully adjustable so you can set corner weights properly and bring the nose down enough to clean up the aero without scuffing splitters on pit-lane entry. The result on circuit is a chassis that holds its line through high-load corners and lets the V8 do its work, rather than one that runs out of rebound damping and starts hopping over kerbs.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range alongside the Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally builds, and it has been developed and validated on international circuits by XYZ race teams worldwide. The headline number is the 9720 ways of adjustment – delivered through a three-knob system that gives independent control over the damping curve rather than the single-axis compromise you get from cheaper coilovers. Construction uses a small-orifice oil passage in the damper body, which is the choice that makes the coilover work on smooth tarmac: the small passages give precise damper response at high piston speeds on a flat circuit surface. The trade-off is honest. Over a sharp bump the oil moving through that small passage can produce a faint working noise. On a circuit, where the surface is the surface, this is non-issue territory. The Circuit Master is not a coilover that pretends to be two things – it is built for one job and tuned to win at it.

Fitment for the Ferrari F360 (2001-2006)

This kit is built specifically for the Ferrari F360 chassis (internal code FE01) across the full 2001 to 2006 production run, covering Modena Berlinetta and Spider in standard suspension form. Fitment uses the factory mounting points – no chassis modification required.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
