XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES G26 (2WD/4WD) 4/6CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2020-2026

The G26 4 Series Gran Coupe carries its weight low and long, and the xDrive cars in this range add drivetrain mass over the front axle that the rear-drive versions never have to manage. Left on standard suspension, that mass shows up as body roll under trail-braking and a rear axle that doesn’t always load evenly through a fast direction change. The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s answer for owners who take this car to sustained circuit sessions rather than the odd trackday.

Because the G26’s rear end uses an integral-link layout, this kit is built with modified rear integration so the coilover mates properly to that geometry instead of fighting it. The result is a chassis that keeps its composure lap after a full session, not just for the first flying lap before heat soak and roll start eating into your margin.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 BMW 4 Series

On the G26, the biggest gain is control of weight transfer under braking into slow corners, where the standard setup lets the nose dive and unsettles turn-in. The Circuit Master’s damping range lets you firm up compression enough to keep the front tyres loaded evenly, which matters more on a heavier xDrive car than a rear-drive one. Through fast direction changes, the tuned rebound keeps the rear axle planted rather than letting it float, so the back of the car follows the front instead of arriving a half-beat late. Ride height adjustment also lets you correct the G26’s naturally high stance for a lower centre of gravity, which pays back directly in mid-corner grip on a car this size.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing built the Circuit Master specifically around circuit use rather than road comfort, and it shows in the damper’s 9720-way adjustment range across three separate knobs, giving compression, rebound and low-speed circuits enough resolution to trim the car for a specific track rather than a generic setting. XYZ’s own racing teams have used the platform across international circuit competition to develop that range, which is where the fine graduations between settings come from. The small-orifice valving inside the damper is tuned to hold that resolution, and on rough sections of a circuit it can produce a faint noise as oil passes through the narrow damping passage – that’s the valve doing its job, not a fault, and it’s not something a track surface will trouble you with in the way a pockmarked B-road might.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series G26 (2020-2026)

This kit is built for the G26 4 Series Gran Coupe, chassis code BM122-1, covering both 2WD and xDrive 4WD variants across 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines from 2020 to 2026. The modified rear integration handles the G26’s factory rear suspension mounting so the kit installs without further rear-end modification.
