XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES F82 M4 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2014-2020

The F82 M4’s factory adaptive M suspension ties damping electronically to the S55’s power delivery, and it’s a setup most track-focused owners find too soft even in Sport Plus. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover replaces that electronic damper with a fully mechanical, externally adjustable unit, and because the M4’s ECU expects to see EDC solenoids on that axle, this specific kit is supplied with the cancellation module needed to stop the car’s electronics flagging suspension faults once the factory dampers are removed.

Circuit Master is XYZ’s top-tier lap-time platform, built for cars doing repeated sessions rather than the odd trackday. On a 2014-2020 F82 M4 running semi-slicks or full slicks, that means a chassis you can trust to hold its line through fast direction changes without the factory dampers hunting for a setting mid-corner.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2020 BMW 4 Series F82 M4

Remove the EDC dependency and you also remove the lag between what the dampers are doing and what the driver is asking for mid-corner. The Circuit Master’s 9720-position damping range lets you set compression and rebound independently front and rear, so the nose-heavy load transfer under trail braking that the S55’s torque exaggerates on corner entry can be tuned out axle by axle instead of accepted as a factory compromise. Ride height is fully adjustable too, which matters on an M4, where lowering on stock geometry usually eats into negative camber you don’t want to lose. Expect flatter weight transfer under the S55’s mid-range shove, sharper turn-in, and a rear axle that squats less under full-throttle exits at circuit speed.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range, developed alongside the teams the brand supplies for endurance and sprint racing internationally, with damping data drawn from those cars rather than road-going assumptions. Each corner uses a monotube design controlled through three external knobs, giving 9720 individual damping combinations so compression and rebound can be separated front to rear instead of moved together. The oil circuit runs through a deliberately narrow passage at each knob; over rough sections this can produce a faint clicking as fluid moves through the restriction, a function of the fine-adjustment design rather than a fault. The kit is built around sustained circuit use, back-to-back sessions rather than a single trackday, where a damper has to hold its setting as it heats up rather than just perform cold on the first lap.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series F82 M4 (2014-2020)

This kit is engineered specifically for the F82-generation BMW M4, chassis code BM93-C, covering the 2014-2020 production run. Because the car left the factory with electronically controlled adaptive dampers, fitment includes the cancellation kit required to run passive coilovers without triggering electronic suspension warnings.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
