XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E90 M3 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2011

Hang an E90 M3 sideways and the S65 V8’s mass announces itself – all 4.0 litres of it sitting over the front axle, loading the nose every time you pitch the saloon into angle. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the BMW 3 Series E90 M3 is built around that reality: a competition damper set meant to plant the car at the moment of initiation and hold it steady through a sustained slide.

This is the variant with the cancellation kit for electronic damping, so cars originally specced with BMW’s EDC lose the factory adaptive struts cleanly without throwing a dash fault. What replaces them is a fixed, driver-set platform tuned for one job – controlling a drift car at high yaw angles on circuit.

What this coilover kit does for your 2007-2011 BMW 3 Series E90 M3

Drop the ride height with the correct bump stroke and the E90’s centre of gravity falls with it, which is where the change in drift control really shows – the car stops feeling top-heavy as you transition between corners. Three independent adjustment knobs let you set the platform stiff enough to resist the body roll that unsettles a slide, while keeping enough mechanical grip at the rear to feed the car power without it snapping straight. The lowered, firmer stance also sharpens turn-in on entry, so initiation is predictable rather than a guess. For a 414bhp V8 saloon that wants to load its front tyres hard, that front-end stability is the difference between a clean transition and a correction.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This kit is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a road setup. Its core purpose is body stabilisation during high-speed turning – keeping the chassis composed while you hold the steering angle, then improving how the car carries and links that angle from corner to corner. Damping is managed through three adjustment knobs, and the internals use a deliberately small oil passage; drive over a large bump and the oil forced through that restriction can produce a faint noise, which is normal behaviour for this valving rather than a fault. That trade-off is intentional – it is a circuit-track product, so rough public-road tarmac is not part of its design brief. Set the height and bump stroke correctly and the result is a car that holds drift attitude with far more authority than the standard EDC suspension ever allowed.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E90 M3 (2007-2011)

This set is specced for the E90 M3 saloon, chassis code BM63-1-C, across the 2007 to 2011 build years. It is the electronic-damping cancellation version, so it suits cars factory-equipped with EDC as well as those without – the kit handles the electronic side either way.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
