Caliper render for this kit:

At a shade over a tonne, the XP90 Yaris carries very little weight over its rear axle, which is exactly why the factory rear brakes feel under-worked the moment you start driving the car hard. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Yaris (XP90) addresses that, swapping the standard rear setup for a larger, lighter disc-and-caliper package that brings the back axle into the conversation under braking.
This is rear-axle hardware aimed at balance and repeatability rather than raw stopping muscle. On a car this light, the rear’s job is to stay composed while the front does the heavy lifting. Pad compound runs from Street through Sport to a full Racing spec, so the kit suits a road Yaris, a weekend autocross runabout, or a grassroots track hatch.
What this brake kit does for your 2005-2010 Toyota Yaris (XP90)
Fit this kit and the first thing you notice is a firmer, more progressive rear pedal feel. The larger disc gives the rear pads more leverage, so the back of the Yaris settles under trail braking instead of going light and nervous. The hollow-vane disc keeps rotating and unsprung mass down, which matters on a car where every kilo counts and the rear suspension is working over kerbs and broken tarmac. Choose the Racing compound and the rear holds its bite through repeated heavy stops, resisting the fade that turns a stock light-car rear setup vague after a few hard sessions. The Street compound keeps things quiet and dust-light for daily use, while the Sport pad covers fast-road bite with the heat range for the odd track day. Caliper colour spans the included Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with premium polished-forged and candy finishes available, so the hardware can match the build behind your wheels.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing supplies this as a complete rear-axle kit: caliper, two-piece floating disc and pads to bolt onto the XP90 Yaris’s existing rear hubs. The disc is the signature, its hollow-vane core relieving material from the internal structure to cut weight without giving up the swept area that gives you heat capacity, a sensible priority on a light hatch that never generates huge rear braking loads but still benefits from a disc that sheds heat cleanly. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for harder use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds cover the spread of how these cars actually get used: Street for quiet, low-dust everyday running, Sport for a sharper bite with the heat range for occasional track work, and Racing for competition use where pedal consistency under repeated abuse matters most. Faces come drilled or slotted at the same price, and caliper finish is specified at order, so the visual side is handled at the same time as the function.
Fitment for the Toyota Yaris (XP90) (2005-2010)
This kit is specced for the second-generation Toyota Yaris, the XP90 chassis, across the full 2005 to 2010 production span, and mounts to the rear of the car as a left-and-right pair. The XP90 ran across several engine and trim combinations during its life, so confirm your exact variant and rear hub setup against your chassis code before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
