XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Toyota GR YARIS GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rear Integrated) 2020-2024

The GR Yaris’s GXPA16 platform carries a genuine WRC-derived four-wheel-drive system, and on loose surfaces that drivetrain only earns its keep if the suspension gives it the travel to work with. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built specifically for that job – rally and rallycross use, where the car needs to move through its stroke on rutted gravel or a snowbank rather than bottom out on the second compression.

Longer front and rear travel than the tarmac-spec Pro Racing line keeps the GR-FOUR system’s torque split doing useful work instead of fighting an already-compressed shock, while a larger oil and nitrogen charge is there specifically for the punishment of stage or rallycross running, not a single track day.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2024 Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rr Integrated)

On a car this short and this light, wheel travel is what stops a big compression event from becoming a snap of oversteer or understeer through the diffs. The extended stroke front and rear gives the GXPA16’s suspension somewhere to go when a gravel crest or rutted apex tries to compress it flat, so the 4WD system keeps putting power down instead of unloading a corner. The bigger oil and nitrogen gas volume matters just as much as the travel: on a stage-length run or a full rallycross weekend, shock oil temperature climbs fast, and this is the spec built to stop that heat spike thinning the oil and fading the damping three corners from the end of a run. The three external adjustment knobs let you retune compression and rebound between a snow-covered stage and a dry gravel one without pulling the dampers off the car.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is XYZ Racing’s damper for rally and rallycross specifically, not a repurposed circuit coilover with softer springs. Front and rear travel is extended well beyond the road-going Pro Racing spec, giving the car the buffer it needs to stay composed over the kind of surface a tarmac coilover would bottom out on inside a lap. The bigger internal reservoir of suspension oil and nitrogen gas is there to manage heat: sustained hard use overheats shock oil, and running a damper past that point is what kills damping consistency, so the extra volume buys real margin before that happens. Each damper carries three external adjustment knobs feeding a small-orifice oil passage; over big compressions that design can produce a faint noise from the shock as oil moves through the passage, which is the valving working as intended, not a fault. It is a chassis built for stages and tracks, not for silence.

Fitment for the Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rr Integrated) (2020-2024)

Confirmed for the Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 chassis, four-wheel-drive, 2020 to 2024, in the modified rear-integrated configuration. Check your log book against the GXPA16 chassis code before ordering, since GR Yaris production spans more than one suspension mounting revision.

This is the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow spec for GR Yaris owners heading off tarmac rather than around a circuit – configure yours below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
