XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2018-2026

Launch a G20-generation 3 Series hard off the line – whether it’s a four-cylinder 320i or a six-cylinder M340i xDrive – and the car’s weight spends the first two seconds of the run trying to leave the rear axle behind. XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover is built around that single problem: getting load onto the driven wheels the instant the clutch or torque converter locks up, and keeping it there through the traps.

This kit is set up specifically for 0-400m work rather than circuit driving, and it’s built to suit the G20’s spread of drivetrains – 2WD cars sending everything through the rear, and xDrive 4WD cars splitting torque front and rear. It comes with the cancellation kit needed to run manual damping on cars specified with electronic adaptive dampers, so the factory EDC system doesn’t fight the new setup or throw warnings on start-up.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Bmw 3 Series

The core of the Drag Racing spec is a damping and spring setting biased to shift static weight rearward under acceleration, deliberately loading whichever axle carries the drive. On a 2WD G20 that means compressing the rear more readily under power so the tyre contact patch grows exactly when torque hits it; on an xDrive car, it keeps the platform settled enough that the front-to-rear torque split isn’t undone by body movement. Less time spent with a driven wheel unloaded means less wheelspin off the line, and a shorter, more repeatable 60-foot time. Ride height is adjustable independently of that damping setting, so you can get the launch stance right without changing how the suspension reacts under load.

About the Drag Racing coilover

The Drag Racing coilover is XYZ Racing’s dedicated straight-line kit, engineered around 0-400m runs on FWD, RWD and 4WD platforms rather than lap-time work. The valving is tuned to let the chassis transfer weight onto the drive wheels the moment power goes down, forcing more compression into the contact patch of whichever tyre or tyres are doing the work. That extra compression is what cuts down wheel idle time – the brief window where a tyre is spinning without gripping – and it’s what keeps the car stable once it’s moving at speed rather than squirming as the suspension settles. It’s a setup built around one manoeuvre done repeatedly and consistently, not a compromise between that and daily comfort.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series G20 (2018-2026)

Built for the G20-generation Bmw 3 Series, chassis code BM106-C, covering the 2018 to 2026 production run across both 2WD and 4WD (xDrive) drivetrains and four- and six-cylinder engine variants. The cancellation kit for electronic damping is included for cars originally fitted with adaptive EDC dampers, so the manual coilover installs without conflicting with the factory system.

Pick the drivetrain and engine configuration that matches your G20 and configure yours below.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
