XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S (without hydraulic lift system) 2019-2026

The 992’s rear-slung flat-six puts mass behind the back axle, and on loose gravel or snow that pendulum is the first thing you feel move. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S answers that with long-travel front and rear damper bodies, built to keep the contact patch loaded when the surface stops being smooth.

This is the loose-surface rally and rallycross end of the XYZ Racing range, not a lowering kit for tarmac stance. It carries a larger volume of suspension oil and nitrogen gas than a road-biased damper, and a three-knob adjustment layout so you can set compression, rebound and ride height for the stage in front of you. It fits the Carrera 4/S without the factory hydraulic front lift system.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S

The extra travel gives the AWD front axle room to keep biting under braking and turn-in, where a short-travel setup would top out and skip. The increased oil and gas volume resists fade across a long run, so the damping you set at the start of a stage is close to what you still have at the end. The three adjustment knobs let you soften the kit for rutted gravel or firm it for packed snow and faster surfaces without pulling anything apart. On a 992 Carrera-4/S that already runs significant kerb weight over the rear, that control over body movement is what keeps the car rotating predictably rather than snapping.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This damper was developed for rally and rallycross use, and the engineering choices reflect that. The longer stroke front and rear builds in a bigger buffer zone, giving the suspension more distance to absorb impacts and hold the car stable over broken ground. The enlarged oil and nitrogen capacity is the key feature: more fluid and gas means the shock runs cooler under sustained abuse and resists the oil overheating that exhausts a smaller damper over a long event. The three adjustment knobs feed through a small-orifice oil passage, and over large bumps you may hear a faint noise as fluid moves through that passage – this is normal behaviour for the design, not a fault. Built for circuit and stage use, it treats surface imperfections as part of the job rather than a problem.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S (2019-2026)

This kit is specified for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S, chassis code PO28, across the 2019-2026 production span. It is the variant for cars without the hydraulic front lift system – confirm your car is not equipped with factory nose lift before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
