XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Nissan MAXIMA A32 1995-1998

The A32 Maxima rolled out of the factory as a soft, nose-heavy front-driver wrapped around the 3.0-litre VQ30DE V6 – plenty of torque over the front axle, but a chassis tuned for hushed comfort rather than composure once the surface breaks up. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built for exactly that problem: long-travel dampers designed for loose, rough and low-grip going rather than billiard-smooth tarmac.

This is the rally and rallycross end of the XYZ Racing range, so the brief is suspension that keeps working when the ground stops cooperating. On an A32 driven hard over gravel, snow or a broken back road, that means the heavy nose stays planted and the car settles instead of hammering through its stroke.

What this coilover does for your 1995-1998 Nissan Maxima A32

The extended damper travel front and rear gives the A32 a bigger buffer before it runs out of suspension, so the weight of the V6 nose is controlled rather than slammed into the bump stops over crests and ruts. The larger oil and nitrogen gas volume holds damping consistent across long, hard running where a smaller shock would heat-soak and go vague. Three separate adjustment knobs let you set the car for the surface, softening off for deep gravel and firming up as grip returns. On a front-heavy Maxima, the result is a car you can commit to when the road is anything but perfect.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This damper is engineered first for rally and rallycross, where the longer front and rear travel buys the extra buffer distance a car needs to stay stable over big inputs. XYZ Racing raises the internal oil capacity and nitrogen gas charge so the shock resists overheating and the oil exhaustion that ends a competition damper’s day after extended use. Adjustment runs through three knobs, and the small oil-passage design behind them can give a faint noise over large bumps as fluid is forced through the narrow port – normal behaviour for this build, not a fault. The hardware is at home on rough surfaces and circuit work alike, with no worry about bumps mid-run.

Fitment for the Nissan Maxima A32 (1995-1998)

This kit is built for the A32-chassis Nissan Maxima across the 1995 to 1998 model years, the front-wheel-drive VQ30DE V6 generation. Check that your chassis code reads A32 before ordering so the spring and damper hardware matches your car.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
