XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Mitsubishi 380 2005-2007

The Mitsubishi 380’s long front-drive nose carries most of its mass over the front axle, and on gravel or snow that bias shows up as understeer the instant the surface gives way. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built for that loose-surface fight, with longer suspension travel front and rear so the damper keeps working when the road turns into a stage.

This is a rally and rallycross damper first, not a stiff circuit setup dropped onto a big saloon. The extra travel gives the 380 a bigger buffer over crests, ruts and compressions, holding the body in check where a short-stroke kit would run out of stroke and start to skip.

What this coilover does for your 2005-2007 Mitsubishi 380

Fit this to your 2005-2007 Mitsubishi 380 and the first thing you feel is composure over broken ground. The longer travel lets the wheels follow ruts and cambers instead of deflecting off them, so the front end keeps biting when you ask that heavy nose to change direction. A larger oil volume and bigger nitrogen gas charge keep the damping consistent through long runs, resisting the fade that turns a good-handling car vague after a few hard miles. Three external adjusters let you set the damper to suit gravel, snow or a dry sealed surface, so one kit covers the conditions a 380 owner actually drives in.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is engineered for rally and rallycross use, where the surface punishes any damper short on travel or oil. XYZ Racing extends the stroke at both ends to build in a larger buffer distance, keeping the 380 stable as the suspension cycles through deep compressions. A bigger reservoir of shock oil, paired with a higher nitrogen gas charge, raises thermal headroom so the oil resists overheating and the damping does not drop off after sustained hard use. The system carries three adjustment knobs, each metering flow through a small oil passage; over large bumps that passage can produce a faint noise as oil moves through it, which is normal for this design rather than a fault. It is a loose-surface, stage-focused setup, untroubled by the sort of bumps that would unsettle a road-biased kit.

Fitment for the Mitsubishi 380 (2005-2007)

This kit is matched to the Mitsubishi 380, chassis code MT01, across the 2005 to 2007 model years. It replaces the factory struts and dampers front and rear on that platform. Confirm your build year in the configurator before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
