XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Porsche 992 GT3 RS (without hydraulic lift system) 2022-2026

The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the 992 GT3 RS confronts the central tension of taking Porsche’s most extreme naturally-aspirated weapon onto a loose surface stage: the GT3 RS’s entire chassis architecture – its active aerodynamics, its rear weight bias, its competition-calibrated geometry – assumes a surface that provides grip. Without the hydraulic lift system, the front axle runs at a fixed competition height with no mechanical buffer against the surface variation a gravel stage delivers.

The Gravel Rally specification answers with an inverted tube design, extended stroke lengths, and spring rates validated through actual rally competition. For the 992 chassis (PO25-1), this coilover replaces the tarmac-biased factory setup with hardware built to cope with sandstone, silt, and snow without sacrificing the directional composure a rear-engined platform demands at speed on an unpredictable surface.

What this coilover does for your 2022-2026 Porsche 992 GT3 RS (without Hydraulic Lift System)

On gravel, the 992 GT3 RS’s rear weight bias – an asset on dry tarmac where the engine mass loads the rear tyres – becomes a variable the dampers must manage continuously. The Gravel Rally’s long-stroke internals and correspondingly extended springs absorb the high-speed impacts and extreme cornering G-forces that loose-surface competition generates, giving the rear axle a stable platform rather than an unpredictable one. With no front lift function in this build configuration, the coilover’s travel range takes on the job the missing lift system cannot perform – absorbing ground contact at the nose and clearing surface irregularities that a fixed-height competition car would otherwise ground on. Rally Racing team sign-off on all spring rate settings means the calibration reflects loads generated by real competition cars, not conservative road-going estimates.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

The Gravel Rally is XYZ Racing’s coilover specification for competition on loose and broken surfaces, where the road conditions place greater demands on the shock absorber than in almost any other motorsport discipline. The inverted tube construction – placing the larger-diameter outer tube at the top of the strut – reduces unsprung mass and increases lateral rigidity under the sustained side-loading that high-speed gravel cornering generates. Long-stroke damper internals paired with extended spring lengths allow the suspension to track over severe surface changes – sandstone, compacted snow, loose silt, and the mixture of these a typical stage will present – without exhausting available travel. XYZ Racing developed the damper geometry to handle aggressive chassis vibration and the sudden high-G impacts from high-speed bouncy sections, which in Rally Cross conditions represent some of the most punishing loads any performance suspension encounters. Every spring rate configuration in the Gravel Rally range has been tested and validated by a rally racing team before release.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 GT3 RS (without Hydraulic Lift System) (2022-2026)

This kit covers the Porsche 992 GT3 RS on chassis code PO25-1, across the 2022 to 2026 model years, specifically for the variant built without the factory hydraulic front axle lift option. The two front suspension configurations are not interchangeable – confirm your car does not carry the hydraulic lift system before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

  • Pillow ball top mountPillow ballPSolid pillow-ball (spherical bearing) upper — chosen for rigidity and precise camber adjustment, the sharpest steering response of the options.
